Thanx for the remembrance kids...I know it gets a bit OLD every year, but it's nice to remind the younger crowd of sports fans that they have a lot to give thanx for. This all wouldn't be possible if our veterans since the 1770's thru the 2000's hadn't volunteered to give it up for this big strip of virgin land. Tooo my fellow native Americans....we wazzz robbed man! LOL! Just say'n! lol
That is VERY WEIRD and CREEPY...yet EXACTLY what I'm saying too. It took me for ever to get them away from me, and every so often they send me a message letting me know in no uncertain terms they know where I am. Microsoft is in some ways the same thing. They get into your computer and check where you go on the internet (like many others now) or what kind of software you are using. These organizers of Twitter, Facebook, and Microcrap are all paranoid weirdos I suspect. Narcissistic web ****. Look at England (London in particular) with all the surveillance cameras on every street corner....1984 girl...1984.
Yeah, I own a digital camera, that was the reason I was asking. Was going to post a few pics of the "Man cave" when it was finished...lol. Black lights and all! I tried Facebook when it first came out for a year, and then found out some nasty things about it....like they track your every more and that they keep a file on you even after you leave. It takes something like over a year after leaving to even consider dumping you from their hard-drive. If you ever go back and sign in, the process starts all over from scratch. Millions of people with no idea they're being monitored 24/7. YIKES!
Now, as far as the Packers are concerned...the team is beginning to look like a front line combat zone. Every year it's the same thing with the injuries piling up. OBVIOUSLY players get injured, but I get the sinking feeling that way to many players are coming into camp in poor condition, and expecting training camp to get them in shape. There needs to be accountability with these guys, and something needs to be done to insure the packers organization, and the fans too, get a better return on their investments. Just say'n....
I think most people around here fail to know the difference about "whining" and a SIMPLE critique of a poor performance. It's sad, but true, the reality that there are certain TROLLS around here that do just that...go fishing in the message boards looking to start up some 2bit middle school "I know you are, but what am I" discussion. If SO CALLED Packer fans can't handle a LOMBARDI style critique about the team, and it's lousy play at times, then I suggest you grow up. BUT we all know that won't happen. There are legitimate Packer fans who live by the Lombardi creed, and then you have packer fans who believe that a 6-10 or 9-7 Packer season is just great and wonderful....."We'll get 'em next year guys! Yaaaaaaah!!" You're not a packer fan, but just a "hang around the fort" groupie. The "TROLL" groupies stand out like a sore thumb around here. They can't take criticism, so they throw out the playground "I know you, but what am I" attitude, or "whining" remark. Seriously.....in reality whose the one crying? The TROLLS! LOL, I'll keep dishing it out to the TROLLS and the GROUPIES per usual, and if you happen to also be a Packer...whatever you want to claim yourself as (lol)...fan, then I suggest you also come to terms with the fact your head is shoved up your 4th point of contact!
When, or if, you don't UNDERSTAND a persons comment, or get the hidden joke, or for that matter the between the lines remark, then I suggest you ask the person to clarify the remark. I know TROLLS are a limited sub-internet species, but geeez, it ain't that hard is it? I guess it is....

Also on "Between the Lines" show, they discussed the possibility of the Brewers signing some free agents during the off season. The ONLY NAME that came up as a possibility was Ryan Dempster's, and that would be for a 2 year deal valued at 22-24 mil. The possibility of signing Greinke or Hamilton was also discussed, but thought to be an over priced adventure.
BTN (Big 10 Network) today stated that the best possible scenario for the Rose Bowl would be a Notre Dame vs, Wisconsin match up because of the rabid fan support both teams carry. Although Nebraska is a brand name reemerging in the B1G, it doesn't carry the weight that Wisconsin does when it comes to teams that travel well with fan support. The Irish vs. Badger match-up would be a "Worldwide" event, and the "Best possible" game.
What bothers me is the fact that Wisconsin could lose it's next 2 games against Ohio St. and Penn St., win the B1G conf. title game, and enter the Rose Bowl with a 8-5 (joke of a) record. That's the UGLY part of it....
