I don't think the Pistons are likely to trade Prince. I think Pistons GM Dumars would rather have Prince than Richard Jefferson or Odom. (Wouldn't you?) To get Prince from the Pistons Detroit would need to get a consistent All-star back. I also don't see Carmelo Anthony going to the Pistons as he doesn't have the character and team play that Dumars likes.

For the Lakers they should just keep everybody they have. Once Bynum is healthy they are the most talented team in the NBA. At the SF the Lakers can play Odom, Walton, Ariza, Radmanovic and Kobe. That is fine - probably as much versatility at the 3 as any team in the NBA.

Pistons GM Dumars focuses a lot on character and desire to win in his players. He'll take a chance on a Rasheed Wallace who plays with lots of emotion, but I don't see him wanting Carmelo Anthony who stands around and focuses on his own scoring as opposed to defending or team play. I think the trade that makes sense for the Pistons and Nuggets is Rasheed Wallace for Marcus Camby basically straight up. The Pistons would then need to get more offense from the PF position which could be accomplished by trading some of their younger PFs such as Maxiell and Amir Johnson.
