Posted Friday January 30, 2009, About: Edge rewards himself with Lamborghini
Sure, he can spend his money how ever he wants. He has earned it and he deserves it...good for him. But does he have to flaunt it in front of the world to see? The "tough economic times" is not a cliche and is a perfectly good reason why he should not show average American's how much cash he has. You don't see average John Q Public going out and buying a new HDTV and setting it on his doorstep for the homeless - or those on welfare - or someone who just got laid off - to see and admire and talk about. Mr. Public would be hated in this community for doing something like that. Not Edge though (or any over-paid, ridiculously rich celebrity or athlete). He can drop 300 large and show it off...it's cool. Nobody cares, right?
Posted Tuesday October 28, 2008, About: Al Sharpton calls Plaxico column 'racist'
Sharpton has done wonders for civil liberties, but clearly his time and mind have run out. He really needs to retire and keep his mouth shut, as he no longer has any valid arguments or claims.

That's like telling Greg Norman he shouldn't have played in the Masters.

Ted Thompson should release him and then retire before the season even starts.

Favre will be the latest victim of the Madden Curse, then all the stories will be over...
Posted Wednesday July 30, 2008, About: Source: Favre not talking trade
Favre is going down via Madden Curse.

I've got faith in T-Jack.

I want to know what Bevell said to Favre to convince him he should play for the Vikes. I really don't see it happening, but it sure would be something if it did...
Posted Tuesday July 15, 2008, About: Why Favre is mad at Packers
"Favre is under center with Adrian Peterson alone in the backfield. KGB almost jumps the gun, just after Favre calls an audible. Standing up and signaling Bernard Berrian on one end and Sidney Rice on the other, Kleinsasser goes in motion behind the line. Just as he passes Favre, HUT! HUT! Play action to Peterson! Everybody follows him. Berrian jukes around Al Harris, leaving him all but fallen. Rice runs the slant behind Hawk, arm up ready for an easy gain. Favre pump-fakes to Rice and sends up a bomb in the other direction. Berrian was full speed off the start after leaving Harris on his heels. Woodson breaks coverage from Rice to chase down Berrian. NO chance. Berrian sees the bomb, with velocity to pass him. High gear kicks in and he's gone! Perfect catch over the shoulder at the Green Bay 40. Woodson is the closest, 5 yards behind, no chance of catching full-speed Berrian. Touchdown Vikings!"

Paul Allen first play by play featuring Favre in purple.

Who wants to see him like this?
Posted Tuesday June 24, 2008, About: Imus tries to explain controversial comment
Would this thread be any different if we picked it up and moved it to one of the story's about Javon Walker or Cedric Benson?
Posted Tuesday June 24, 2008, About: Jones upset by Imus' comments
Pacman will always be Pacman. What a big ****.

This lesson was learned in grade school..."Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me [unless I'm an attention-seeking vag]". Isn't that how it goes?

Imus was actually defending Jones and black people in general, saying that they get picked on because they're black. Did anyone read the transcript? Maybe you should ask one of Imus' BLACK co-hosts what they thought.

Read between the damn lines.
