2. the ACC is the most dominant conference in NCAA basketball...not on and off, but PERENNIALLY, so to excel in that conference year in and out is an accomplishment in and of itself


The ACC might have been the most dominate conference in college basketball in the 90s. But last i checked year in and year out the BIG EAST is putting 6-8 teams a year in the Big Dance...The powerhouse ACC is putting in how many teams now? 3? 4 if their lucky? Alrighty then. Bring Duke to the Big East and they would quickly fall into obscurity. The only ACC team that could contend with the Big East conference is UNC.
