I know sports is big business & the Lebron's Wade's & Kobe's should be helping their teams form a good group around them. These players have more money than GOD in fact one of them just gave him a loan. So money shouldn't be what fuels them giving back to the team that they're on, the city there in & fans. Now in Cleveland & Akron Lebron gives alot back to the community, gives alot to the fans who witness his play but with his teamed trying to continue to surround him with players he's his own worst enemy. Even it is not the case Lebron & Wade owe it to their organizations to say positive things to help in free agent negotiations. After-all these players are part of that 15 man squad that will hold that trophy if everyones done the job like Kobe & the Lakers did this season.

I'm still laughing at the Yankees should take a look at getting Pavano. Pavano is actually rehabbing in the majors after a host of time being on the DL with the Yanks. I really can't see this trade happening but the Tribe would be open to a trade to a team for prospects. The sad thing there is a struggling team with parts to trade that nobody really wants.
Posted Monday July 06, 2009, About: Cavs meeting free agents in LA
I like Marion always have I've always thought of him like a Pippen type but I'm a fan not a coach so my opinions mean very little. However I'm on equal ground here. I say sign Marion but sign & trade Varejao bringing a couple servicable players for the bench. A look at GS could produce that. Thinking of Illgauskas I wouldn't mind a trade of Z to a team that would cut him allowing him to return to the Cavs like McDyess did with the Pistons. If Cleveland wins a Championship there might not be a more deserving player to be part of it than Z
Posted Wednesday July 01, 2009, About: Mets-Indians trade fell apart
As an Indian fan I say you can have Pavano & we thank him for his 6 gutsy wins. This year for him is to get back in form which the Indians won't benifit from as he'll hit that next year which I don't see him in Cleveland to do. As for ex SS Peralta now manning 3rd he has worn out his welcome in Cleveland. It was only a matter of time until a SS was found to replace him now that its happened he blocks 3B for AAA prospect Hodges. SP C.Lee has nobody to back him in the rotation currently #2 is in the minors #3 is injured. V.Martinez is the heart & sole of the team look for him to be resigned & if C.Lee dosn't sign he be traded next year in FA year.

To the SF Giants DeRosa or Garko for a potential starter that can go into the 7th giving his team a chance to win or a bullpen guy that can help us now. Anything else is uncivilized
Posted Friday June 26, 2009, About: Potential Indians-Giants deal
The rumor mill is going great guns now that without a doubt we are sellers in Cleveland. I don't see C.Lee or V.Martinez to either one be dealt because the value would the following year at the deadline which of course they hope to be contending then. That means contracts talks for 2 players of the core. This year however DeRosa, Garko, Shoppach, Francisco, Barfield could all be had other players figure in the long term of the team. On the pitching front we have no tradable options nobody in the pen can get anyone out & the starters with exception to C.Lee & Huff won't bring much either. So trade for pitching, pitching, pitching at every chance possible.
Posted Friday June 26, 2009, About: Kidd wants out of Dallas
I thought I was going to take a nap & someone came up with this Varejo wants big money which the Cavs may be reluctant to give but Dallas will but I've heard to old vets could be had for low money J. O'Neal & J.Kidd to team with L.James, Shaq, Z, M.Williams & D.West. Form a strong 7. A sign & trade with Varejo to Dallas getting Miami involved allowing the Cavs add the 2 pieces they still seek.

Somebody wrote about the Cleveland Indians being gutted keeping their core players. That list gets shorter each & everyday. C V. Martinez is entering that time of his career where his payday is due will he be traded or signed? C Shoppach we've seen the good & the bad is his value on the trade market high? The Tribe has catching depth at AAA & AA. 1B Garko's playing time cut to get AB's for Shoppach & keep Martinez healthy plus allowing the Tribe to look at AAA players so is there trade value there. At 2B a good young piece was found in A.Cabrera then another piece in Valbueno so a shift in the infield came about putting Cabrera to SS & Peralta at 3B. The question now comes is it time to unload a Peralta who is not long term at 3B. So you see the core V.Martinez Valbueno A. Cabrera in the inf. In the OF LF B. Francisco is a disappointment & should of been dealt instead of Gutierrez CF Sizemore heads the core then the addition of Choo in RF also part of that core. Now you can't trade everybody but changes do & will be made. At AAA we have LaPorta & Brantley for the OF Hodges for 3B, Toreges C. At AA Santiago at C influx these 5 names could make a better team. With this unloading get pitching pitching pitching Shoppach, Peralta, Francisco & DeRosa all could get pitching prospects to replace the retreads we have been forced to use. A look at pitching is even more disturbing C.Lee, Huff the only starters worth keeping. Laffey to join them from AAA. Lets hope & pray that Carmona can be fixed. The pen where do you start the back 5 were considered the strong part of this years team. J.Lewis, R.Perez, Betancourt holdovers, with additions of J.Smith & K.Wood. The track record of this 5 is there. Can they regain it? Is R.Perez able to regroup he's the key in this pen.

I have loved the Cleveland Indians most of my life. Its always been the best part of living in Cleveland because I could pack up the family go to the Lakefront sit in the leftfield stands basically by ourselves then later on in the Jake watching the best baseball in the 90's. After that run of course gone was Hardgrove & Manuel to of my favorite managers in Cleveland & Eric Wedge entered, in the front office gone was John Hart his assistant took over Mark Shapiro, we even went through an ownership change & the renaming of the ballpark. My love of baseball & the Indians won't change due to changes in the ownership, front office or on the manager/coaching fronts. However these men are being paid a good amount of money to perform & nobody is earning what being paid out.
Posted Friday June 26, 2009, About: Warriors trading Curry for Amare?
This trade right behind dealing Shaq now Amare & lets not forget Marion both these players highly athletic Amare is a very good player so you look at the other pieces rookie Curry C Biedrins, PF B.Wright & SG Belinelli the list to the Suns of course open up others to be dealt. The Suns are retooling the team they put together failed but alot of their parts can still play. PG Nash SG J.Richardson SG Barbosi to name a few.
Posted Friday June 26, 2009, About: Will Rockets swap T-Mac for Amare?
Imagine L.James, R.Wallace Shaq, M.Williams, J.Richardson with Z, D.West, B.Gibson D.Jackson & JJ off the bench. For matchup 3 different players in & out the pivot your starting 4 & 3 plus last years rookies providing depth at 4. the 3 manedby the MVP most of the time but in shooters night the starting 2 slides in with last years 3 guard system all in to spread the floor. No matchups could be a problem.
Posted Friday June 26, 2009, About: Will Rockets swap T-Mac for Amare?
I have a sign & trade rumor that comes about if Varejo asks for too much with the Cavs trading him for J.Richardson for the big 2 they need or the 3 sending L.James to the 4 which he plays alot anyway in the Cavs rotations.
Posted Friday June 26, 2009, About: Hornets shopping Chandler again?
If anyone is wondering behind the scenes of team labled old the Cavs seem to have a good group of youngsters. From this years draft SF/SG's Eyenga & D.Green last years draft produced SF/PF's JJ.Hickson & D.Jackson then sprinkle in SF J.Williams & SG T.Kinsey with M.Williams, D.West, B.Gibson, Varejo & L.James it seems a fairly young team. The only age being Shaq & Z both in their last year. Its Championship for them or nothing. Bosh is the planned replacement there in 2010-2011 season & the only way L.James will stay.
Posted Friday June 26, 2009, About: Hornets shopping Chandler again?
All the rumors, all the draft picks that never happened makes the next few days bearible until 7/1 then the frenzy happens again. I've heard how good the Cavs are how bad the Cavs are etc. The Cavs needs are now to resign Varejo for their price look to get another big to round out the front court rotation & then sign a big 2 guard. However looking at the Cavs a few days ago B.Wallace was where Shaq is now & Pavlovic was in & out the guard rotation being replaced at times by Kinsey. So in the draft the Cavs drafted two Pavlovic style players Eyenga listed at 6'6" or 6'5" & D.Green also listed at 6'6" So I say the Cavs seem to be improved. My targets are Turkoglu, R.Wallace, Jamison, Villanueva, etc. & McGrady, Artest, J.Richardson, G.Wallace, etc or entertain thoughts of a J.Kidd wanting to play with Lebron & Shaq.
Posted Wednesday June 24, 2009, About: Villanueva to Cavs?
Ok I'm getting a little confussed on all this trade rumor talk. The Cavs team starters LBJ, Varejo, Z, Mo, D.West all need to return but in different roles LBJ & Mo continue to start but AV, Z & Del should come off the bench. The reason is the bench could or should all go. Big Ben is done, Joe probably could be kept but not in current rotation of bigs, JJ & D-Block aren't ready so the Cavs need to add a big man or 2 like Sheed & CV or Shaq w/CV. The big guard is Artest or J.Richardson to replace Wally & Pavs. D.Gibson & D.West off the bench could provide scoring from the bench that is needed.
Posted Wednesday June 24, 2009, About: Villanueva to Cavs?
Most of these rumors came about because of what Orlando did to Cleveland's front court. Its not like the Cavs were asleep at the wheel on the knowledge of what they needed to do. At the trade deadline there were talks but deals came up short & the Cavs chemistry was such they thought they just might of had the pieces to go all the way. However the NBA is a matchup game & we all knew from the regular season we didn't matchup well with Orlando. Now the task at hand is getting younger & athletic with the 30th pick you may not even get a player that can make your team. So you look at FA's you have some room trades you have some pieces that will give other teams expiring contracts but I don't see enough to get a Bosh or a D. Lee. This upcoming season your front court of Z & Andy should come off the bench as should D.West. So look to go a little cheaper with the likes of a Villanueva & a R. Wallace maybe get a Artest as well aging stars past there prime & youngsters that have yet to get there.
Posted Wednesday June 24, 2009, About: Cavs moving up for Young?
The Cleveland Cavs are the wild card in the trade front, the FA front & the draft. I'd like to see the front court improve with the trade for Shaq & picking up FA's R.Wallace & Villanueva to bolster the bigs. Another FA shooting guard with size will be needed like Artest with a sign & trade for Varejo. As for the draft make the moves to get 2 youngsters like Lawson & S.Young to team with youngsters JJ Hickson & D.Jackson.
Posted Wednesday June 24, 2009, About: Potential Indians-Giants deal
Cleveland do not trade C.Lee with your pitching in the shapes its in. Next year if not re-upped would be the time unless your a contender. Look at this staff Carmona being re-invented in the rookie league. Westbrook the second half hope may sit out that with his comeback setback, Pavano just back from injuries is somewhat fading then Sowers can't get deep into games is on a 5 & fly that needs to improve Huff beginning to do it presently heading up to possibly the no.3 spot unless Laffey returning from injuries grabs that instead of being the savior in the pen. So lets put this on the field & see if wins & contention follow C.Lee Carmona, Laffey, Pavano & Huff if healthy a Westbrook in one of those spots.
Posted Wednesday June 24, 2009, About: Potential Indians-Giants deal
I'm an Indian fan I'm a Mark DeRosa fan I've been a little disappointed with play of the tribe but if you can get starters that can go 6-7 innings each & every start then you are into your bullpen too early & too often. That added stress is why were talking trades 3/5 of your opening day staff gone the bullpen a revolving door due to injuries & inconsistancies. So yes try this trade with hopes of getting an arm that can get people out. The Indians are loaded with outfielders at AAA & DeRosa on a one year deal.
Posted Wednesday June 24, 2009, About: Celtics offered Rondo for Gay
Wow! The Boston Celtics were saddled with loss of KG in the playoffs that adds up to D.Howard or L.James being injured unavailable for their teams. So now the blame in Beantown is being thrown around to a point guard. With the big 3 healthy & Rondo playing like he does Orlando probably wouldn't of made it past the Celtics. However this rumored trade getting a point guard & a swing man for a point guard & a player thats a throw in. I'd make that trade everyday. Conley could replace Rondo & Gay gives you a backup for the 2 & 3 backing R.Allen & Pierce. In the NBA its a fine line keeping a sucessful unit together like we saw in Detroit. Eventually all teams make changes some work, some don't we as sports fans can only hope.
Posted Saturday June 20, 2009, About: Clarett seeks early prison release
I see a continuous downhill spiral for the NFL Vick, Clarrett, Burriss, Stallworth & I think I remember a RB out of Michigan robbing a gas station or convienant store. I also remember a WR for Carolina that didn't want to pay child-support so he had the woman shot. Lets not forget all the drug problems & steroid use that ended careers & life. I say clean-up sports the NFL, MLB & NBA ban these players that don't respect the game.
