When the Lions made Stafford the #1 pick in the draft, I wasn't sure he was the best choice. However, this young man has shown plenty of guts and that he's willing to take on the challenge to be the teams leader. If I didn't learn anything else in my 20 years in the Army the one thing that has always stuck with me is that you "Lead by Example." This young man is doing just that. 0to40, I totally agree with you, there are better days ahead for the Detroit Lions and their fans.

I agree with you to a point about young teams and inconsistent play. However, Syracuse lost three starters from last year's team including Jonny Flynn one of the best if not the best point guard in the NCAA last year. Also, Syracuse doesn't get half the talent UNC does. And, of the four teams in this tournament, Syracuse was the only team not in the Top 25. No doubt UNC should be there come tournament time, but don't try to take anything away from Syracuse, they just flat outplayed UNC.

It seems to me that the majority of accusations against coaches come from players who have already graduated or at least left the school. If what Mangino did was so horrific, why didn't they file their complaints when the so-called incidents occurred. If the complaints were legit, they wouldn't have to worry about any retaliation from the coach.
