Honestly, given what Edu's task was, Beckerman's been doing that the entire time under JK. It's just we have a better option available. I don't see Beckerman getting dropped. Obviously he won't be starting, but he is still a solid option and will do exactly as asked within his ability.

Think Spurs with Modric and Parker. The playmaking comes from the back with Wilshere and Ramsey. Obvious Arteta can be a CAM where Deuce is when Arsenal wants to go more defensive and pair Ramsey and Song together at CDM.

remember Adam Johnson?? Anyone?? No England attacking player should sign with City. Especially if they are young. I think signing with City will likely ruin Johnson and likely Milner's career. I would not get too attached to the job if I was RdiM. Ambramovich is a fickle man who takes the word of his aging players more than his coach. He should just hire Daddies Sauce as player/mgr next year. No coach since TSO that was set to be long-term (that's why Hiddink was successful in his short stint) has been able to succeed because each coach wants "his guys" and that would mean less time for the old reliables. So they betch and moan to Roman Emperor who in turn fires the coach and then magically the team resurrects like an Eric Cartman revival.
