That's why the track had to be a 1-mile oval or a road course...not enough dense air to produce down force for a car going 185 MPH on a bigger speedway...that's really a big reason PPIR down here in the Springs failed too...that and the city of Colorado Springs has less than 1M people...so trying to constantly fill a 60,000-70,000 seat facility just wasn't possible.

Really sad not to see more Colorado race fans on here happy about this.

Let's not all jump on the bandwagon with this kid...lots of people run good in plate races...look at the top at the start of the race...guys like Scott Speed qualified very well and started up front. Brad just happen to run good enough for long enouh to be in a good position at the end of the race....still a mediocre driver week in and week out.

Pit stops have come to mean entirely too much during a race. Who wants to see a guy win because he only took two tires or no tires and just gas on lap 150 of a 500 lap race and then no one could pass for the rest of the race?
