I guess wml66 is on some really strong mind altering stuff. I read the rant correctly all NFL games are doomed because Brady got hurt. Would that same logic apply to the Celtics and Red Sox too? Without a Boston team in the play offs wml66 has no reason to watch anymore? Better alert the networks and the advertisers... or NOT.

I thought that LA was happy with USC and knowing that it's Sundays were open for parties and beach stuff. Will LA support even one NFL team? The fuel costs to get to and from the stadium might even bring the "stars" a bit of sticker shock.

Someone should show him film of Butkus last season with the Bears when he was limping on the field. Merriman's last great season may already have happened - last year. He will be lucky to make it through 8 games this year - if the Chargers let him play. And if the Chargers let him play AJ should be fired. This is not in the long term best interests of the Chargers, even if they do have Merriman's replacement already signed to a long term contract. Merriman is a unique talent, one that offenses have to account for on every play, at least that was before this season.

From the reports and other posts it seems the cheers were for what happened during the cool down lap. At least more for that than Kyle "being the first looser" as the famous quote goes. Now that every other driver knows that Kyle looses it when he gets bumped you can expect it to happen more often in the future. He will learn to deal with it or it his will be a long pouty career.
