I have no doubt that Kevin Garnett is a GREAT power forward/center and would deserve to be on this kind of a list.. but as a SF? I guess if he was going for best forwards.. KG and TD would be great but to say KG is a top 5 sf is a bit bizarre.
I guess its assumed that Kobe is the best SG
Maggette might be a better fit in Boston than most people realize.. Sure he could come off the bench for Ray Allen but Rays getting old and will need Maggettes younger, fresher legs off the bench for some instant offense.. especially noting Boston's occasional droughts. He would get some quality minutes sub-ing for Ray and Pierce who need to rest their legs more. He can even come in for Rondo at times and push Ray at the point cz hes a good enough handler to take care of pg duties.. PG Allen, SG Maggette, SF Pierce, PF Garnett, C Perkins.. thats a VERY scary lineup right there
I hate to say all this considering im a huge lakers fan.. but its true
I love Turiaf as well. Hes that spark off the bench thats also vital to a championship team. When things are going slowly for the Lakres, Turiaf can spark a team on or off the court. He can get caught him in his passion for the game and commit silly fouls.. but who can get mad at him for that? Look at KG...
I agree with what most people are saying about Turiaf but please do not overvalue Vujacic. Defense is a lot about that passion and dedication that Vujacic clearly shows. He did a very decent job chasing around Ray Allen and will only develop.. as will Turiaf.. both are still young players who have time to get better. I believe that both players, especially Turiaf, are being a bit underpaid, but they will have plenty of time to and im sure they will make a lot more money in the future.
