This shows how desperate Truth & Rumors is for news. Here is a guy with a TOTAL of 180 points for his career, making headlines. Unbelievable
Posted Wednesday July 18, 2007, About: Owner: Garnett did not want trade
All of you hating on KG are idiots. He is not selfish, he is one of the few team playing stars we have left. Wade, Lebron, Melo, Nash, and thats about it. He plays hard on both sides of the floor, and is showing his loyalty. If he opts out, that is his choice. He does want a ring, he just is not an arrogant punk like Kobe. He knows he cant win a title by himself. I think he will take a mid level exception to go play with a contender such as Phoenix or the Bulls. If he lands with the Bulls, look out, all those young guys, with another year of development. They would probably have the deepest team in the league. All of you hating on KG, need to wake up and smell the roses. You are ridiculous. It is loyalty to stick out your contract with them team that gave you your chance, that watched you grow up, and that gave you all your money. If it does not look like they have a shot, which they wont, then they can part ways. But dont anyone say he is not loyal, or is just in it for the money. He received his max contract, and continued to be one of the top 5 players in the NBA, for the duration of that contract. He was more then deserving. KG is a class act, and one of a kind in this league of egos and punks. Get off of his jock, and appreciate him for what he is, because we wont see many players of his kind anytime soon.
Posted Wednesday July 18, 2007, About: Secret Warriors-Wolves deal?
I really doubt KG ends his career with Minnesota. I dont even think he will end the season with them. there will not be a trade during the summer, but during the season, they will get rid of him, to a contender that is lookin to make a move towards a title. Much like Rasheed did when he went to Detroit. They will dump him, so they at least get somethin out of it. My guess is Phoenix, or maybe the bulls. I dont think McHale could be that dumb, but on the other hand maybe he is, and then everything I just said is null and void.
Posted Thursday July 12, 2007, About: Sources: Fisher to return to Lakers
He wants to go to a city with good doctors that can take care of his daughter, New York was preferable, but there are plenty of doctors in LA.
Posted Thursday July 12, 2007, About: Stevie Franchise's destination list
Ya, and Kobe will be a great example for Crittendon. I highly doubt any young guy developing well on the same team as Kobe. They need to build with solid role players. Guys who dont care if they dont get any shots. Franchise is the exact opposite of that.
Posted Thursday July 12, 2007, About: Mo' money or Miami for Williams?
What is with nickyhola, that could have been one of the dumbest posts I have ever seen. Someone was deprived of oxygen as a child. The Mo williams siging comes down to the same thing Rashard Lewis went through, does he want the most money, or the best chance at a title. I am gonna go with the odds and say that he picks the money. The Heat could easily come out of the east. If Lebron and those bunch of guys mistaken as a team can make it, the heat can. D-Wade is right up there with Lebron, and the supporting cast he has is way better then Cleveland, even without Mo.
Posted Thursday July 12, 2007, About: Stevie Franchise's destination list
If he comes to LA, I think it will be the Clips, since the Lakers got Fisher. I dont see that as a logical move for the Clips anyway, seeing as how they got Livingston and Cassel(although I am not sure about the time table on Livingston coming back.)
Posted Thursday July 12, 2007, About: Sources: Fisher to return to Lakers
I like Fisher, but this still is not a move to make Kobe stay. The Lakers blew it in the draft, by taking a college freshman, and 2 foreign players, who still need to develop. That has to be a sign that they clearly dont plan to try and win soon. Kobe has to be making all kinds of candid videos blasting the Lakers right now.
Posted Thursday July 12, 2007, About: Bulls' No. 1 free-agent target is...
Exactly, so why waste good money on an old guy, that will only hinder the development of there young guns. Most of the guys this team has are only gonna get better. With more playing time, Thomas, Deng, Sefolosha, Noah, Nocioni, all of them, will just get better. Save your money, let PJ go, and then next summer, or even during the season, send Nocioni, Gordon, Duhon and a pick to the T-Wolves, when they will take anything just to get something for KG before he leaves.
Posted Thursday July 12, 2007, About: Darko to sign with Grizzlies
This may be a good deal, for DARKO. I dont see why Memphis would waste that much money on a guy who is soft in the middle, and has been a bust since he joined the leage. I guess this was a desperation thing, or something.
Posted Thursday July 12, 2007, About: Bulls' No. 1 free-agent target is...
Anything short of the Bulls getting Gasol or Garnett, will cause them to take a step back. I say they run with the young guys they got, and let them develop. I mean they are already one of the best teams in the east(which isnt saying much), they are a contender. With the guys they got, and a few more years of developing, and playing together, ya gotta think they will in the near future be title contenders. Dont screw things up by adding an old guy that does not fit in with there style.
Posted Wednesday July 11, 2007, About: Mo' money or Miami for Williams?
If I were Mo, I would take a lil less money, for the chance at a title, then to stay with Milwaukee. Even with the great addition of Yi(that was a joke), Milwaukee still will be lucky to make the playoffs.

Posted Wednesday July 11, 2007, About: Artest: It's good to be a King
Artes to the knicks would be a terrible move. The way I see it, Artest will stay a King, they will play terrible, and then he will snap, and then get a lifetime ban, or something. His best days are behind him. I dont think he will ever be considered a greadt player again. Maybe he should retire, and go into mixed martial arts.
Posted Sunday July 08, 2007, About: Why Mavs want Charlotte's Wallace
I think this would be a great move. It gives Dallas a legitimate defender, that can score when needed. With their current backcourt of Harris and Terry, they undersized, and dont play that great of defense. This also makes them more athletic, if they play maybe Harris, Terry, Wallace, Howard, and Dirk, which is a lineup much more suited to run with teams like Phoenix and Golden State. I dont know how they will manage to fit it in under the cap, and I am not sure if they can get Wallace at the mid level exception, as he is still young and can command a higher amount of money. I feel that if they are to get him, it would have to be part of a sign and trade. I could see them parting with Terry, but I am not sure what else they could to make it worth it to the Bobcats. Mark Cuban is a very rich man, who loves, so maybe he will try to break the bank and take the luxury tax hit, or possibly dump some contracts to make room. I am not sure if this rumor is fiscally possible, but i love the way it looks on paper.
Posted Tuesday July 03, 2007, About: Knicks want (another) troubled star?
and you may wanna learn how to spell MARBURY, before you accuse anyone of a low IQ of any kind. As well as when you talk about how the Knicks spend money, because everything about it is wrong. Do you see the contracts on there team. THis is the same franchise that gave Allan Houston a 100 million dollar contract. How is that not wrong?
Posted Tuesday July 03, 2007, About: Knicks want (another) troubled star?
I think the Knicks are going in the right direction, with the roster the way it is, they have a good mix of players, even if most of them are grossly overpayed, but I feel an Artest trade is a step in the wrong direction. The article itself says "and a new edict that character no longer matters." Why? For some defense, a potential negative media frenzy, should Artest and/or Randolph have more on or off the court incidents. I dont think it is worth it. Plus why would the Kings take the Knicks trash, which is poorly valued considering they have not made the playoffs in years, when they can get much more sensible offers from other teams. I think it would be best for all parties involved that this trade does not happen. I mean isnt Artest due for another psychotic episode by now.
Posted Tuesday July 03, 2007, About: Bucks' No. 1 pick seeking trade
I am not making a point against players demanding trades, I am making a point that Yi has not commanded the respect of an Eli Manning, or Steve Francis. He is an overhyped future bust/franchise killer. I said I feel he will be traded to a city he prefers, but I still feel whoever gambles giving up an established player, or future draft picks, or a combination of the two, is taking a HUGE risk.
Posted Tuesday July 03, 2007, About: Release shocks Bobcats point guard
Ya, I just saw the Fisher headline, is he not gonna be there this season, because that is a huge loss. Knight would help out there.
Posted Tuesday July 03, 2007, About: Release shocks Bobcats point guard
Utah is already deep at PG with Deron, and Fisher, that would be a pointless siging. I think Houston would be a good fit, or possibly the Milwaukee . He will come cheaper then Mo Williams, so then they can still go make a play for another guy.
