You will NEVER convince me there is more talent in Texas high school football than in Florida. I have lived in both places and believe high school football in Texas is bigger but there is more talent in Florida. However, what is it with QB's from Texas? Man, they grow them there. They are a dime a dozen!

I don't think Alabama will beat Florida by throwing the ball. They will win by running between the tackles.

Well, Texas may have something to say about that. My gut says Florida but nobody is 100% sure. The speed and experience of that defense and the will of Tebow.

Good question.

Well, being a stud in college just doesn't translate to the NFL. I wish I knew why because I would be a scout if I could. I never thought Tim Duncan would amount to much in the NBA either.

You seem to be Alabama's answer to USC's Sandy Underpants. Please stop.

Good question. I think Florida's offense hasn't lived up to the hype. I still think they will be favored in the SEC Championship. In those types of games it often comes down to QB play. Who would you take?

Nice post.

Ditto that.

Congrats to Auburn. I hate to see the Hogs lose an in state talent like him but they are loaded and young at running back so it is probably best for Dyer to go elsewhere.

Is this true?

Man, who knows? Lots of that going on it seems.

That was a very good post. I happen to agree. Kiffin does have a big mouth though.

And that makes me a fan of him and his team for that. Besides, USC will be fine. I just think other teams are catching up.
Posted Wednesday November 04, 2009, About: Carroll changing USC's scheme
One of the best lines I have ever heard.
Posted Wednesday November 04, 2009, About: Carroll changing USC's scheme
Well, that I will agree with. USC will be just fine. I just believe their is more parity this year. Florida and Texas aren't blowing teams out like people expect but they are still darn good. USC lost both coordinators, lost of defensive players and start a freshman QB (who I am a big fan of because of his character and integrity.)

Well, TN won it in '99 and Auburn ran the table in '04. GA has played in a few Sugar Bowls. Quite a few different teams from the SEC actually. Same obviously cannot be said for USC. Last time ANY team from the Pac 10 played in a championship was 2005 and this year doesn't look good either.

What do you mean?
Posted Wednesday November 04, 2009, About: Carroll changing USC's scheme
Oh, ok, so you did say it. So the SEC has two top level teams (actually 3 in the top 10.) The Pac 10 has 1, it being Oregon.
Posted Wednesday November 04, 2009, About: Carroll changing USC's scheme
You mentioned how Florida scheduled Charleston Southern. I mentioned how USC scheduled San Jose State. Both are gimme wins. Oh well, deal with it. Whatever Florida is doing is working. 2 Rings in 3 years.

So this isn't your paragraph?

The last several years..no doubt FL and either AL or LSU were dominant...but after that...there is a big drop is quality teams. I think the SEC fans are blinded and tunnel visioned(is that a word?)...just because they won the last 3 BCS championships...it is only still just 2 teams that are dominant and the rest of the teams in the conference sucks.
