So is uncle Jefferies - there are options to get around the rules but Walsh is very methodical and patient. He doesn't like giving up potential assets for nothing so lets see how it plays out. If Eddy averages 10pts 5 rebounds this season he'll be on the roster next season for sure.
1. Doc Rivers led Boston to like an 18 win season and won the ring the year after.
2. Miami set the all-time loosing record (0-17) under Pat Riley and won a championship with him as coach.
Something good is brewing in NJ and Franks needs to be there for it to happen. They'll jinx it if they fire him. You know when you get rid of your faithful wife when y're about to get rich... you set youself up for bad karma... so yeah keep FRANK!!!
He's done nothing spectacular as a coach but I think they should keep him this season and let him go once they get better players so the old players don't confuse him with whoever they hire.
I'd expect teams like Memphis, Clippers, Golden State and to some Charlotte to head that class. But Miami in Pat Riley era makes sense too.
What kinda nonsenses is that? If y're cutting costs you have to be ready for the record that comes with it. Money talks in this league. They already degraded the roster by trading away Tyson Chandler so they might as well do a full clean house. How far do you expect to get with Emeka Okafor as your best big man? Wake up people!
The coach is always the victim of bad records but I think the GM is at fault too. A smart GM will not build a team where one injury means a winless season. I mean if heads are going to roll it has to start from the top - where it all started.
Being a scoring point guard can be a blessing and a huge curse. His career is right in line with Marbury, Allen Iverson and Baron Davis - nothing pretty.
They have enough scorers on the team so they need to trade him for a pass first point guard as his ego and inability to play team ball is dividing the team.
When would they let you play?
Are you part of their long term plans like do they want you on the roster after this season?
If they're looking to trade you would they respectfully allow you to list your preferred teams?
Would you ever be the same T-Mac again?
Until those questions are answered publicly rumors of a rift between T-Mac and Adelman will continue to steam.
The administration screwed this one up. I guess common sense is not common to common people at common times.
