Eddy's contract is not bad at all. Because its a players option it can be bought of with an Expected Termination of Contract (ETO) so that it doesn't affect the cap. The other thing is once this season ends its an expiring contract. If we even decide to keep him a Knick we can work with his agent to give him the full 11mil on condition he opts out. Once he opts out we can sign him to veterans minimus to keep his bird rights so he can redo a major contract for the season after.. he will also be an unrestricted free agent so it'll be in the interest of both parties to go that route.

So is uncle Jefferies - there are options to get around the rules but Walsh is very methodical and patient. He doesn't like giving up potential assets for nothing so lets see how it plays out. If Eddy averages 10pts 5 rebounds this season he'll be on the roster next season for sure.

Sometimes you put pieces together that just don't fit... you need to break it up somewhere and try something else like tell Arenas to take only two shots each half... aka pass the ball more...

oh.. that was Rodney Rogers... he later played for the Celts... good memory...

Do you take advice from cartoons?
Posted Monday November 23, 2009, About: Nets putting coach on the clock?
Actually I change my stance on that. He should be kept. It'll be unfair to fire him on grounds that

1. Doc Rivers led Boston to like an 18 win season and won the ring the year after.
2. Miami set the all-time loosing record (0-17) under Pat Riley and won a championship with him as coach.

Something good is brewing in NJ and Franks needs to be there for it to happen. They'll jinx it if they fire him. You know when you get rid of your faithful wife when y're about to get rich... you set youself up for bad karma... so yeah keep FRANK!!!

I now agree with all your points and I think they are legit reasons for any coach to pose a threat to Miami's 0-17 record.

He's done nothing spectacular as a coach but I think they should keep him this season and let him go once they get better players so the old players don't confuse him with whoever they hire.

I didn't mean to disrespect your Heat. I was shocked that happened to Miami and I wanted to know why and you provided the answer so thank you.

I'd expect teams like Memphis, Clippers, Golden State and to some Charlotte to head that class. But Miami in Pat Riley era makes sense too.
Posted Monday November 23, 2009, About: Arenas: Dissension among Wizards
Don't be so sure of it... after 2010 it will become an attractive commodity. Lets say Knicks get Lebron and Amare... Duhon is gone (thank god)... we'll take Arenas.

So ur saying the 0-13 has to with lack of respect for the coach? I think there's gotta be something bigger than that...
Posted Monday November 23, 2009, About: Sources: Hornets trade rumors untrue
According to high-level team sources, the Hornets won't be moving anyone anytime soon. The club is going to stick with this group to see what it can do.

What kinda nonsenses is that? If y're cutting costs you have to be ready for the record that comes with it. Money talks in this league. They already degraded the roster by trading away Tyson Chandler so they might as well do a full clean house. How far do you expect to get with Emeka Okafor as your best big man? Wake up people!
Posted Monday November 23, 2009, About: Nets putting coach on the clock?
I heard Miami and Clippers own the all time futility record 0-17. Clippers I can understand but Miami? How did that happen?

The coach is always the victim of bad records but I think the GM is at fault too. A smart GM will not build a team where one injury means a winless season. I mean if heads are going to roll it has to start from the top - where it all started.
Posted Monday November 23, 2009, About: Arenas: Dissension among Wizards
Arenas is the problem. Any team's success and doom starts and ends with point guard play. Despite his experience he has not figured out when to take over and when to share the ball - that's why they struggle.

Being a scoring point guard can be a blessing and a huge curse. His career is right in line with Marbury, Allen Iverson and Baron Davis - nothing pretty.

They have enough scorers on the team so they need to trade him for a pass first point guard as his ego and inability to play team ball is dividing the team.

Ok Tracy... no beef - great! But there's still questions to be answered.
When would they let you play?
Are you part of their long term plans like do they want you on the roster after this season?
If they're looking to trade you would they respectfully allow you to list your preferred teams?
Would you ever be the same T-Mac again?

Until those questions are answered publicly rumors of a rift between T-Mac and Adelman will continue to steam.
Posted Saturday November 21, 2009, About: Jackson: Warriors didn't care about winning
The freedom of speech that comes with democracy has its good and bad sides like everything else. In a world of common sense people like Marbury and Stephen Jackson wouldn't be allowed to open their beaks... but its OK... what's up Jack?
Posted Saturday November 21, 2009, About: Why Knicks passed on Iverson
Curry is often injured, hasn't played NBA level competetion, no training camp in two years... he plays 11 minutes and you hinge the success of a whole season on him? I mean c'mon what are you smoking?
Posted Saturday November 21, 2009, About: Why Knicks passed on Iverson
I totally disagree. Iverson's presence only takes minutes away from the guards and lets face it the only guard worth developing on the team is Douglas. So if you want Douglas to be a top tier guard would you rather have him compete against Duhon or Iverson... whatever happened to setting the bar high?

The administration screwed this one up. I guess common sense is not common to common people at common times.

The f it. If I was Pau I'd go public with a trade request on grounds that I can't play for an owner that doesn't respect me or my country of origin.

I bet if your boss tells you not to drive to visit your mum to make her proud of you because you might get into a car accident on your way there y'd oblige... you shallow minded submissive <put the name given to female dogs here>.
Posted Friday November 20, 2009, About: Can Iverson lure LeBron to Knicks?
Good point. I've always commended Dolan for not selling MSG to Trump to deprive the city of basketabll alltogether but they way things are going I wouldn't be shocked if MSG becomes a bunny ranch in three years... what kinda absolute stupidity is that... KNICKS NEED AI... he's not worse than Sprewell... oh gosh I wish I could remove MSG from my cable package so the kids don't watch that channell by accident... WTF!!!!
Posted Friday November 20, 2009, About: Can Iverson lure LeBron to Knicks?
OKIE THIS JUST IN FROM YAHOO SPORTS - KNICKS HAVE DECIDED NOT TO SIGN AI - now I don't know what to say...GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
