Yep...pretty much. It's funny, i know TONS of baseball fans and live in southern CA, and NO ONE watches the sox/yanks games on when broadcasted on fox or espn.

Maybe it's because no one wants to pay for the overpriced tickets that are almost double the amount of a normal ticket? Plus, your competing w/ spring training. I would rather see a spring training game than a WBC game. Maybe they should get rid of this thing...the fragile US players obviously can't handle it since they're dropping off one-by-one because of injuries.

I kinda wish free agency talks and off season work was NOT open to the public and media.

Actually, he might. If he wanted to go to the highest bidder he would have signed w/ the yanks weeks ago. But he waited, and I believe for a CA team. He's the best pitcher on the market, so $$ might not be the factor at the moment for him.

As a Dodger fan, I say no thanks. I'd rather they re-sign Lowe over Pettitte at this point if at all possible. Pettitte's numbers are declining year by year, and he should probably retire. However, because the McCourts are **** I foresee a huge contract about to be thrown at him for about 2-3 years. Yuck.

Dodger fan here, and DEFINITELY want to see him back for the next 3-4 seasons. However, 6 years is too much. Boras is once again ruining baseball and more concerned w/ taking his percentage from this pending contract. Dear Scott Boras - Thanks for screwing fans and making baseball greedier and greedier year after year. The sport would probably be much more enjoyable and less stressful for organizations if you were not involved.
