The NFL is big in North America..Yes...NFL get off your high horse. Soccer or football known in europe is no 1. Yes the game sells out when you have one game a year. It would be the same if Liverpool and Man U came over and the next year other matches came to the states. It is a novelty. But to put a team in Englan, why doesn't Goddell worry about his own backyard first.

Soon one will see baseball and all other sports franchises slowly lose teams because cities will not be blackmailed into building statdiums. Get real...140 M to pitch. OK lets see the Packers are 2-0 the Vikings are 0-2. I would say that Childress is more embarassed of his play calling. He is calling plays like he is in high school. No correct that Pop Warner league. No imagination, no adjustments. Yea Perterson gets 100 or so yards but sooner or later he is going to wear him down. Talk to Jackson...my daughter throws a better ball. This act of not shaking hands by coaches is something a 5 year old would do. Grow up....

ok enough..training camp opens ....in a week or so. This drama has been dragging on since the last game of the season. Slowly it seems that teams have lost interest. Sure you have a few teams expressing interest, but if that were the case if Sundin was really wanted, I think one would see more movement. When the season starts either Sundin will be sitting in Sweden...or back to the leafs. One note I love the fact he wouldn't go to the Habs because of the intense rivilary with the leafs. That is BS. To prove your value one goes up the ladder not remain dormant. In Montreal the pressure would be there to perform. In Toronto...no worries. Season ends in April anyway

All the money the NHL would save on transfer payments maybe some could go to putting back a team in Quebec or Winnipeg..

God Sundin saga is worse than the Favre saga. At least one player won a championship and made the playoff consistently. At least one player played one step above his level and made his team better. So poip quiz...does anyone know who this player is....zap to that leaf fan who was going to say sundin. He problay forgot that Sudin wasn't on the 1967 champonship team the last time the leafs got near the cup unless you considered that most of them go to the HHF to see it. Sundin is a first liner on the leafs and any team within the same level but anywhere else a second or third line player. Sundin is like a hooker going to the highest bidder. Well perhaps the bidders should back off and as a hooker will eventually give up and go home. Wait for,the knock on the door that will never come.

Ok enough he said they said and add to the mix Peter King. According to Mr King's article July 10 he states that Brett every year to get ready would throw balls to high school students and other ways to become ready to play. Well this year Brett work on his huge farm and ....opps looks like he got bored. When a player or anyone retires with no hobbies or interests that is what happens. Can he not find other ways to keep himself busy, perhaps work in charity, travel, read. So what is it now when a player says he is going to retire we wait a couple of years until he is sure. If he wants to get back in teach, be an assistant help the young QBs of today. Heck go back to the Packers and teach Rogers how to lead the Packers to glory. You retired....you are wrecking your image to a whining crybaby. One who will hold his breath until he gets what he wants. Sad to say if you do come back I hope you get clocked on the first play of the season....is that what it will take!!!! to stay retired

o come on jj what has Rogers done. well of course nothing as he hasn't had the chance. to have the chance one must play. yes brett was a good a great QB, but his time has moves on. For two years her flirted with leaving the game. Last year he was gone.It is time to move on. Lets remember him for the great games he gave us. He may come back and stink up the joint than what!! It is time that Peter King, John Madden and all the other ones stop kissing brett's feet and enjoy a new age in Packer history.
