I was told by someone in Kuai a few years back (apparently the Rooney's vacation there every Feb) that there is a lot of friction within the family and that the Steelers arent the big money maker in the family's interests. Dan,s prop job plane pales in comparison to the Gulfstreams that other owners have.
Now what all of this has to do with football beats the hell out of me. Lets get those top two picks signed and on with the season..... Personally I cant wait to see Limas on the field with Hines and Santonio - gives Ben a lot of options
This is a non-story the family recognizes that they and the steelrs are part of pittsburgh and just as they stay local with so many hirings they will as well in attaining capital funding. The Rooney family adds value to the Steeler franchise simply by being associated to it.
Come look me up as Ill be staying at the Copley Ritz- ohh thats right they dont let people from Roxbury in there
The hate is getting older and older. Save it for September when the season starts. Consistently whining and harping about the same old crap is pointless. Find some new material.
I could go describe how lame the cape is, but its too easy and its what the people of seanland deserve- ice gold water with fat very pale people playing in the coarse sand and drinking Im sure. My ultimate place to live-
. Al Davis was justifiably criticized for his stadium issues in the 80's and Modell was too. SO its only fitting the Kraft fall into this catagory. He is the same quality of owner- At least the first two made their money themselves as opposed to marrying it. the point and it is new material is that the Rooneys arent that type of owner
The story says that Dan Rooney made an offer that some of his relatives thought came in on the short side. Yap to the ones forced to sell out that it needs to be kept in the family then low ball them on your offer! Nice way to act.....
Im sure that since you are from Brookline you probably know a certain Bob Kraft who lives there and even went to high school there. You may even go to the same Temple. Im sure the Rooneys would never pull the stunt that he did with the taxpayers of Ct and Mass over funding for his new stadium. But then again that type of negotiation is in his blood (and apparently yours too) . This situation will only go bad if it gets turned over to the lawyers and or media - (your kind of people) to make it get even worse - people outside of the burgh dont understand the Rooneys or their love of football and western PA. Then again the people there recall the bum that bellicheat was when he coached the browns - pre hand held video camera days
Did the seanpats with this past superbowl? how about the two before that - thats what I thought - go back to the Bahr and have a few more -come on its not noon yeat- just MAKE SURE you drive home especially throgh the streets of Seanland
