Lakers are in a tough spot. Kobe is winding down and they need that next dominate player. If Kobe doesnt like him, I would guess that means he thinks DH is coasting. But if DH is still recovering from his back surgery, they Kobe has to back off and give him time. And things dont work out, send DH over to the C's. We can give the lakers 3 or 4 SG's and Collins in return.

The C's need someone with size to help/replace KG, someone like Gortat. If the C's get DMC, they need to keep KG around to show him how to prepare and play hard every night. Noone is a bigger fan of KG's, but that shot he hit Tyler Hans with with was dirty and ugly. That was a physical game, but his shot went way over the line.

Is it me or does Mike Woodson say 2 contrasting things, its was Lins decision and his contract was unmatchable. So Lin could have signed for half the money??? I cant blame for Lin leaving for more money, he was sleeping on someones couch last fall.

Maybe he was planing too much? With an injury like that, I think the lakers are rolling the dice. Whats funny about back injuries is they tell desk jockies like us we need to get in better shape. You see dwight & amare both with back troubles and you wonder how important having a strong core is. Both of those guys are chisled.

In Doc we trust. Everything he does seems to go well. Eventually, Darko is going to have to play big minutes. Against a team like LA, Darko might play more, against Miami, Bass should play more. Bass can be a big defender sometimes, but sometimes, he just disappears. I think Bass should get the nod. He played big last year when they needed it. He deserves it.

I would love to see him in a green jersey with KG, Paul, Ray and Raj. Small team, but a solid lineup in the last 5 minutes of the game. At this stage of his career, he is looking for money or to play in the finals and the celts can offer the latter.
