You were never wanted in LA, you were the best coach with a cheap price tag.
Posted Wednesday May 01, 2013, About: Will Kobe go to bat for Pau?
Gasol does not fit D'Antoni system, so either D'Antoni leave or Gasol leave.
Posted Wednesday May 01, 2013, About: Sixers contact Shaw
He should fit well in Philly and he also knows Bynum well.
Posted Wednesday May 01, 2013, About: Jackson: Nuggets sending 'hit men' at Curry
Yeah, that's how the game is played at this point. If Curry is beating you with his shots then you have to combat that with the one strategy that works (Key) him like pro football key running backs and wide receivers.
Posted Wednesday May 01, 2013, About: Kobe has no doubt Lakers can win a title
Of course the Lakers can win and will win many more NBA championships, just not with the current roster. The Lakers will have to get younger, they can't come back next season with the same current roster. The current roster is old, slow, and not very athletic. Competing in the league in this current system means that your team must move the ball up and down the court quickly and transition from offense to defense quickly. Kobe will not know his fate until he steps back on the court next season, then and only then, will he realize what his injury have taken away from him. D'antoni's system does not work well for big skilled guys (Gasol, Howard), Nash is not the same guy he was 6 or 7 years ago and neither is Ron Artest (Metta World). The Lakers need shooters, and bangers to go along with Howard whom I believe will resign with the Lakers.
Posted Tuesday April 30, 2013, About: Stackhouse: Collins should be assured contract
It appears that because of an alternate life-style people of today's world want to celebrate a person coming out. Are those same people celebrating those that don't share that alternate life-style? Because gays and lesbians are deciding to announce their choice and preference out aloud it should not have an effect on everyone's opinion. Understand it's a new day and new situations, however, it should not mean that those who choose to remain on the other side of the fence should perge their believe or godly principles. I'm all for "live and let live" and not condoning discrimination in any form, but I feel as if the world is forming reverse discrimination if your not "onboard" with this "coming out" movement.
Posted Tuesday April 30, 2013, About: Raptors want Phil Jackson as president
Everyone wants Phil Jackson in some compacity. Phil really want the Lakers job but he won't get it because he presents too much of a challenge to the the owner's son.
Posted Thursday February 21, 2013, About: Kupchak sees greatness in Howard, statue included
I can't imagine a scenerio where the Lakers lose Bynum, Gasol, and Howard within a year. Howard is the Lakers future; just don't tell Kobe. There's no way the Lakers will allow Howard to either be traded or walk. Howard will resign with the Lakers and you will begin to see other players currently on the roster vanish, along with D'Antoni. A slower pace offense and an infacious to get the ball to the post players more next season.

Technology have **** up the Super Bowl, it's all commercial and concert. When did Beyonce became bigger that game? Would like to see her in a porn movie.

So, something did come out of Singletary's coaching.

Sometime the writing is on the wall; his knees are shot. Give it up dude and try something else in the basketball world. I know it's hard to give up your passion but all love affairs come to an end at some point.
Posted Friday February 01, 2013, About: Rubio thinks Gasol should start
**** Rubio, when did his opinion matter? He had one good season in the league and now he's the **** commissioner; dude need to take a silence pill and attempt to help Minnesota become relevent.
Posted Thursday January 31, 2013, About: Reed dreams of playing for Belichick, sartorial icon
He don't want to play there. It would be like having Brady quarterback the Raven's offense and have Flacco as your backup, **** won't work.
Posted Thursday January 31, 2013, About: Clippers want Bledsoe to speak up
I guess its a level of caring and not caring, some of the personality around him may be a little to fragile to step on; however, your the coach on the floor, you have to develop that "**** you" attitude.
Posted Thursday January 31, 2013, About: Turner helping sink Sixers' revival
Yes, he has been something of an enigma, and with Bynum not in uniform and on the court it has hurt this team moving forward. Turner coming out of college had a lot of high hopes and from the very moment he was seen in a Sixers uniform he looked lost and out of place; as if he wanted to be college. I don't know if Bynum will change things if and when he does get on the court and I don't believe that Bynum compliments any of the current Sixers on the roster other than True Holiday. Bringing Gay to Philly would have been a great move; maybe he will be available in the near future.
Posted Thursday January 31, 2013, About: Colangelo ready to move Bargnani
Don't quite understand the recent moves, bringing a guy (Gay) that need a strong point guard to complement his play in the open court and on design play, allowing Caldaron to leave for Detroit; a place where he will not be used or valued, when you have a team with a very soft middle and week bench, this trade does not make any sense other than to expect its a trade that values profit more than wins.
Posted Wednesday January 30, 2013, About: Two frontrunners in the Oden chase emerge
Saw Olden at the Ohio State game last night along with Michael Redd. Oden look good; its hard to image he's not playing the game; he has had soo many misfortunes. I would like to see him back on the court and playing for a legit NBA team. He will probably never be the "above the rim" guy but if stiffs like (Kendrick Perkins, Bogart, Drummonds, Lopez, Chandler) can man the paint so can Oden make a comeback.
Posted Wednesday January 30, 2013, About: Grizz, Raptors need third team for Gay trade
This does not make any sense to me; why decrease your chances to win now and into the future. Major mistake if Memphis make this move. This type of move is one that you don't recover from. Memphis is a better team with Gay as oppose to without Gay.
Posted Wednesday January 30, 2013, About: Bryant adds 'devastating' twist for Lakers
Kobe has finally found out that with the changes made to the roster during this off-season he also had to make changes to his game and the approach to the game. He could no longer hoist up jump shot after jump shot and his shot selection had to change also. Gone are the guys that allowed him to shoot whenever and however as they watched; now you have guys that don't understand the gunner mentality approach of the past. So now Kobe found out that he had to become more of a facilitator because distribution is what causes this group of guys to play with passion. The Lakers do look different and this is the diagram/blue print the Lakers should employ.
