--- Cash didnt do anything, the only smart move he's made was trading David Wells for Roger Clemens.. his predecessors are the ones who scouted guys like Jeter, Bernie Williams.. and signed key free agents like Paul o Neill and Tino Martinez.. so yes you can say that he helped win 4 rings, but those were with guys he didnt sign or scout. Everyone is giving this guy too much credit for the success of the Yankees.

Aggressive? if st. louis was really aggressive they would have signed Bonds at a league minimum, when you've got the two greatest hitters batting 3-4 in a lineup.. it will make pitchers tremble with fear. I hate bonds, but they had a chance to sign wht could have been the greatest offensive duo this decade... LaRussa wanted it, but the owner shot that down. I always thought that you do what it takes to win.. thats why LA is in first place, they took a chance at Manny being Manny. And Manny behaved and are in first and laughing at the NL west.

When Davis hired him, he thought he had another Jon Gruden.. However Kiffin is not. He's a great coach, and he knows the strength of the Raiders is the running game, I think Davis wants him to throw the ball which with this offensive line and crappy receivers, that will not happen. This will be shanahan again. And hear me, Rob Ryan or James Lofton will be the next coach of the Raiders. Davis has always been big on WR's.. which is what Lane is not. That's why Davis is an idiot, he's been trying to find the next Tim Brown. Tried that with Moss, didnt work. Tried that with Walker.. its a work on progress but doubt he will be. Thats why Davis talked walker OUT of retirement.

Why does this bother me so much? I've supported vince young.. even when I knew he wasnt a successful quarterback.. but it bothers me so much he threw another guy under the bus.. named Donovan McNabb last year telling him to stop crying.. and here we see him being hyprocritical and crying for himself.. if there is anybody who had to endure the most, its Donovan McNabb. He was boo'd everywhere.. he's in Philly, and he was even boo'd when they drafted him, but he endured. He went to four NFC championships and a super bowl.. and all VY can do is cry when he gets boo'd.. thats why im upset about this.
