George!!! My god you really did not say
"You might as well," Foreman said. "There's not gonna be any Social Security left."
If your a world champion boxer we know your paydays should make you ineligible because if you don't have enough money already toward retirement then you got bigger problems than anyone can handle.

As a starter...he should be! NOT

Hahaha Nice pic of Hamill. Hughes pulled a trick out of his bag that looked on paper to be an easy win for Almeida (size, youth, speed). We'll see him in their with like a Tiago, Kampmann, Fitch, or even an Alves rematch.

Not in the least since I agree with what you said about Silva's ability to avoid everything Forrest threw....I also stated that it wasn't A TALL ORDER against someone like Forrset who really is a sloppy striker. COte sucked but you didn't see Silva doing the dance in the few exchanges that they had. Dan beat Silva in the first round but he gave rd 1 on he had and SIlva ended him in rd 2. etc...

Lets see. I absolutely do hate Silva because he is very impersonable, he plays games like Cote, Leites, and Maia and I think he is very beatable if you take him out of the striking game.

His win over Forrest was impressive in the fact that he made it look so easy BUT that still fails to dispell the fact that Forrset is not good at facing technical strikers. Forrest lack of skill doesn't lend to Silva's "Neo like" dodging abilities.

And he's only a co-main event, he's selling himself

The story is in the MMA message boards. We have been talking about it quite a bit.

I think their is sarcasm in that remark but its always a pleasure to talk MMA

That's why it's called an opinion....because you believe Silva is bigger AND a more fundamentally sound fighter! However, I believe Silva is bigger but GSP is the more fundamentally sound fighter.

You don't have to live close...I'll send your ass a money order if I lose!

I don't think Forrest has faught one either. Here's strikers he has faught but they weren't technical like Silva:

Jardine
Rampage
Tito
Bonnar
Rua (was a shell of himself that night)

The best two he faught were Silva and Evans (Though Silva was the best period)

Forrest has never been a technical striker, he is a brawler and is therefore easily avoided by a technical boxer.

I wish he would but Soares says he has no interest.

You can be skilled without the size. Their are plenty of little guys who can school the taller players because they are just flat out better at the fundamentals of the game.

Bold Prediction (bookmark this page): If GSP ever fights Silva he will win by submission after he takes Silva down and passes his guard at will. If the fight ever happens make sure this page is marked because I'll have a cool G waiting for the person that takes the bet against me!

Natural given gifts/abilities involve size....you can be a 7' 4" giant and it doesn't lend to raw talent because you can still SUCK ASS. Lebron James is good because he practices and earns what he has....tell SPud Webb that he had no RAW Talent!
Posted Tuesday August 03, 2010, About: Silva's performance angers Dana White
Yep, but if and when they don't press he refuses to either and we end up with fights like Silva v Maia
Posted Tuesday August 03, 2010, About: Silva's performance angers Dana White
So who should they give him....because just like GSP there is no one to match Silva in his perspective weight class
Posted Tuesday August 03, 2010, About: Silva's performance angers Dana White
You're wrong about the Alves fight because GSP also took the better of the standing exchanges. GSP also ended up on his back once but he didn't throw a guard and hug until the ref stood it up...he faught his way back to his feet.

Like I said about Silva, show me where in his last 11-12 fights were he has demostrated a great ground game against anyone? (I already mentioned Hendo). Mypoint is, its not a strategy if you won't engage at all unless you're standing. Its the same thing as if GSP walked into a cage, laid down on his back, and waited for an opponent to jump into his guard so he could work his grappling. In that case the REF would never allow it!

I read both and raw talent in no way involves size...I had already stated that Silva had a HUGE size advantage....also

Its irrelevant since this fight has a 95% chance of never happening

You're right about the show boating....but it is also your job to make quick work of the guy that has no business in the ring with you rather than make the public pay 44.95 to see you taking dance lesson.
