It doesn't matter if he leans into it, doesn't matter if it's obviously not intentional (which is Mattingly's point)....if you get hit three times by the same pitcher, MLB rules dictate that you MUST charge the mound.
The contract, in reality is only a 3 year deal. After 3 years the Cowboys can cut bate at little cost to the team. Granted 55 million for 3 years is a little more than he is worth, but not by much.
55-38 is a far cry from a .500 QB.
If Romo were an unrestricted FA, I think you would be shocked at what he would be offered.
Dallas' problem is that there are no available QB's who are as good as Romo. The odds of drafting a starting qb (particularly as late as they are drafting) are very high. The Seahawks where crazy lucky with Wilson.
I doubt the decision was made (to not sign Wallace) because of selfishness or attitude.
I think the reason the Steelers lost interest in Wallace was because of Halley's offense. Brown's talents are more of a fit with with their current offense.
I still like Wallace and think he will be a good fit in Miami.
At first i was put off with all the "new money" bs that the young Steelers receivers had a few years back, but I figure I am just a bit out of touch with young people. It's the culture they grew up in. Either I adapt or I start gardening instead of watching the NFL, because the majority of the young players have this same attitude.
Cerrone and Noons will be fight of the night.
that being said, I have herd him criticize other players.
I remember Mr. Rice calling Brandon Jabobs "soft" a couple of years ago.
Last year before the Super Bowl he called Randy Moss "lazy".

That said, some of those qb's were not top 10 or top 12 last year.
