I split season tickets with my sister from mid 80's until after they won their second cup. Same thing happened, all of the sudden the Igloo was the place to be to socialize.

I actually had a lady sitting next to me say, "I am wearing a $10,000 fur coat, you better not spill your beer on it!!"

That's when we got rid of our season tickets.

At least Sid was injured (and not on the ice) for the 1/4 of the season he missed. Ovie was on the ice all year and still missed over a 1/4 of the games.
