Posted Thursday October 01, 2009, About: Clausen: I won't be 100 percent
"Because if you've ever sat through mass or read the bible you'd know that god doesn't give out freebees. See Book of Job. Endure and you shall be rewarded!

Clausen's(and NDs) entire season will be decided October 17th, hopefully USC beats Cal this weekend so a win means something. "
Agreed with that statement...that a Cal win this weekend, and a USC loss to ND later, would do real good to removing the toe pain....
Posted Friday November 28, 2008, About: Notre Dame still landing LA-area recruits
I think it says that obviously, whatever the haters say, Notre Dame is still an institution that can attract top talent, whatever the performance on the field. This is just a huge statement given the performance of the Irish of the last 2 years. And since these kids do understand football and what it means to play in a good program, they keep coming. All that needs to happen now is to develop the talent in premier players and the team will be back on top.
Posted Monday September 29, 2008, About: Irish deal with kicking woes
The Irish, I agree with you....given the state of the Irish' team last year, this is great that the problem that we have is on kicking....albeit, it is still a big problem when we are forced to go for it on 4 and a few yards because we can't trust the chip in from 30 yards...
Posted Sunday September 21, 2008, About: Cassel or Quinn could be Vikings' next QB
Derek Anderson is available today for a buck or so. Brady Quinn is now gold in Cleveland and not going anywhere....
Posted Sunday September 21, 2008, About: Weis tries to explain illegal laptop
First of all, ND knows how to use a laptop yes and they also know how to read. 2nd, because the story is with Weis, everyone's best story is the link to the Patriots and the scandal. So what? This is like speeding, every team in the NFL cheats one way or the other to win. NE just got caught. The way the Irish played shows improvement from last year and it is a joy to see how everyone is freaking out at the possibility of not only having Notre Dame on TV EVERY WEEK, but also in the polls and get more airtime. Get a life!
Posted Monday September 15, 2008, About: Weis 'worked up' before game
Has anybody even entertained the thought that the 2 drops by Michigan special teams might be because they were trying to precipitate their moves and get the hell out of Anello's way? That kid has blazing speed and you have to believe that the punt returners were praying for the ball to land faster. And yes, I also agree that ND is on its way. Still a few year project, but there is definitely good progress on all sides of the ball.
Posted Sunday September 07, 2008, About: Huskies coach rips officials
call was the right one. You can see it on YOUTUBE. The rep can't have two rule books, one for the first 3 quarters and one for the final minute. The rule itself is wrong, but the ref just did his job. Kudos to him, too bad he takes the heat.
Posted Sunday August 31, 2008, About: Irish offense looking deep
well, San Diego State is the first stop, they lost yesterday. I hope that the Irish coaching staff got a few nuggets and are willing / ready to exploit them next Saturday. Good luck to us and Go Irish!
Posted Thursday August 28, 2008, About: Weis listens to NFL mentors
Thanks B Rob. As I say, critic the man's ideas constructively, not his caracter or physical atttributes. That PASS RIGHT call is quite a story...and it worked for a great gain that day...since they were obviously expecting run play.
Posted Thursday August 28, 2008, About: Weis listens to NFL mentors
Last time we played at the coliseum, the USC quarterback's only class to qualify him to play in NCAA football was a dance class....and there was a big push....this one might go to the wire if Sanchez doesn't get healthy
Posted Thursday August 28, 2008, About: Weis listens to NFL mentors
Agreed...I was hoping it would be more something like "first half against Michigan..." which means that SDSU could be a factor....as sad as it is, I am going to watch the game Saturday, against Cal Poly - ....I hope that SDSU does not knock us out on the first game...last year was painful enough...
Posted Thursday August 28, 2008, About: Weis listens to NFL mentors
yes. a very long time ago........and it hurts, and we know it. 0 for 9
Posted Thursday August 28, 2008, About: Weis listens to NFL mentors
and yes..........it was meant for the molecular biologist...i do watch football too, that in itself is not a god given priviledge. But I don't feel I need to attack the physical attributes of a coach or the fans that support a team to make me feel better. Challenge the ideas anytime, I am in. Act like you have not succeeded in a society, and you will be called. My work? On my 2nd and 3rd software company, was VP on the first one and we sold for a nice profit. Which has nothing to do with whether or not a coach is fat, the team fans are idiots, and a storied program sucks...which is all you seem to be able to argue at this point.

You probably followed the wall too closely while reading your books. First criteria might, and i say might have been met(IQ over 40 but i doubt), you still haven't gotten off the idiot pill a day prescription. There are posters here who offered negative comment albeit in some constructive manner and that is fair. Your comment shows that while you have a brain, it is definitely not being put to good use. You might have contracted a virus....

I can see beating UM and Purdue
Posted Thursday August 28, 2008, About: Weis listens to NFL mentors
I am a 7 wins predictor. The consensus seems that at the very least, we should be able to take down Michigan this year.
Posted Thursday August 28, 2008, About: Weis listens to NFL mentors
The reason why everyone is insulting ND is clear that is.
Posted Thursday August 28, 2008, About: Weis listens to NFL mentors
I think the reason that everyone is clear. The players know how to spell, can count as high as they benchpress, have a National TV contract and have a die-hard base that don't really care about insults for 2nd tier program, as Michigan will be this year. And that is for starters.
Posted Thursday August 28, 2008, About: Weis listens to NFL mentors
I agree with you prisonmatt, and to top it off, even when he went 9-3 and 10-3, his players seemed ill prepared...they only kicked things in the 2nd half. That is the problem he needs to fix. If he fails this year, he deserved to be let go. But let's give him the season and see how it plays out.
Posted Thursday August 28, 2008, About: Weis listens to NFL mentors
RR has embarassed you enough, don't think he can do worse with the football program. Can he spell contract? I hope Michigan didn't sign one with him since he doesn't seem to understand the value of a legal document.
