You're saying what everyone else does. Romo is INCONSISTENT. The one thing you can't say is that he lacks weapons. DeMarco Murray, Dez Bryant and Miles Austin are All-Pro caliber players, so I'm tired of hearing everyone constantly defending Romo. Jerry Jones wants to remain the face of the franchise and he knows he can't do that by winning Super Bowls. Dallas is the only organization where after a loss all you hear about is Jerry's response. As AWFUL as the Browns, Jets and Chiefs have been, I at least hear quotes from Shurmur, Rex Ryan and Romeo Crennel about their teams latest performance. Not so in Dallas, all I hear is a quote from Jerry about this and that. Jerry suffers from Napolean complex and he's and ego-maniac. Dallas will NEVER win another Super Bowl with JJ as owner. JJ doesn't want that!
He doesn't want to have to share the spotlight with anyone. Right now he is the Face of the Franchise. When JJ won the Super Bowl, that changed and led to JJ getting rid of him.
Jerry built a stadium the size of Texas and he did it do draw attention to HIMSELF. Now he is selling ladies underwear out of that stadium to draw attention to HIMSELF. When the Cowboys won the Super Bowls with Switzer and Johnson and they got the attention, Jerry quickly got rid of them. Jerry loves things the way they are right now. Right now the Cowboys are a mediocre team and all the attention is focused on Jerry. Just the way he loves it. Jerry is a LOSER who wants to draw attention to himself and realizes that if the Cowboys win a Super Bowl, all the attention will go to the players and coaches, and he'll have NONE of that.
Opinions are like a.s.s.h.o.l.e.s...........everyone has one, but some stink more than others. I'd put your opinion in the stinking category. Have a nice day!!
Romo's three biggest admirers: The Giants, Redskins and Eagles. Heck, of all the non-rookie starting QB's in the NFL, the only ones that come to mind that are worse than Romo are Sanchez, Vick, Kolb, Gabbert and Cassel. Yep, that puts Romo definitely in the bottom ten of NFL QB's, but what the heck Cowboy fans, at least you have a big stadium and Victoria's Secret underwear to look at. Jerry's Cool-Aid must taste good!!
Asamguha did deny him the lane. Show me in the NFL rulebook where it says that the DB must relinquish position on the ball to the receiver. Barden is clearly pulling Asomguha down to the ground to keep him from intercepting the ball.
What game were you watching? Asomugha had position on the receiver and Barden reached around him. The call was correct and you notice Barden didn't argue the call. When the ball is in the air both players have a right to the ball. That call was CORRECT.
Yep, at least the Browns can say they're starting a rookie and he has scored some points. I wonder what rex Ryan will have to say after todays debacle.
I'm sure that Haslam who was part owner of the Steelers has a few candidates in mind. My favorite Browns player right now is Greg Little. After a rookie season in which he dropped balls like they were hot potatos, he has continued with his CONSISTENCY. He had a ball deflect off his hands in week one at the opponents one yard line, only to be intercepted. Last night he dropped a touchdown pass in the end zone. It is CONSISTENT play like that which should allow us to be in on the Matt Barkley sweepstakes. When Little does do what he's paid to do and actually catches the football, he is know to go into a full force victory dance as if he's caught the game winner in the Super Bowl.
Well, he's 0 -4 in his third season and he has his hopes pinned on a 28 year old rookie quarterback who is the franchises 6th starting QB in six seasons. Yes, I'd say he's earned his exit.
He doesn't want to have to share the spotlight with anyone. Right now he is the Face of the Franchise. When JJ won the Super Bowl, that changed and led to JJ getting rid of him.
