Barcelona is given credit these days, but not really until 06 were they feared.
Juve is interesting because we all know how great they were before Calciopoli
Bayern has 4 titles and at the end of the 90's and until 03 were completely feared
Ajax 3 or 4 titles, plus they had some great teams in the mid 90's under van Gaal
Lyon has never won, and never made it past the quarters, but they have had absolutely great players run through them and im curious to see how they would do if they didn't have to sell always.
Think of it this way, the now infamous Barca/ Chelsea game, there was a foul in the area that was given outside the box: should uefa change that location and replay a penalty?
Uefa shouldn't make any calls post match beyond suspensions.
I completely agree about italy, but at the same time you want angry mobbish crowds simply because its something that needs to be overcome. SA2010 isn't gonna be all pretty support if you play Holland, Germany, Brazil, or SA. the dutch and Germans are known to take over cities during these game.
BM didn't screw him, they simply believed in the terms of a loan contract whereas the ItAIS think they can do what they want....
Lyon and OM are the 2 teams in France worthy of that status, but they don't seem to have the funds, and/or the interest
Germany is complicated and i think he should stay far away for his personal sanity
Holland... it just keeps getting worse
However, there are 3 leagues that i think would be very good for him that have beautiful standards and aren't comedy teams. If LD were to play he should go to these teams
Portugal: Porto and Sporting always seem to be in the CL and in the latter stages
Russia: CSKA and Zenit are teams that are respected and compete in high regards
Turkey: Gala, Fener, and Besijktas all play good football and have very high standards of play
my starting lineup:
rensing
lahm, badstuber, vb, braafheid,
ribery, tymo, robben
olic
klose, gomes
Besides true football fans, how many people actually remember Nedved?
