Florida? Home? Didn't they treat him like crap? He was born in Loudonville, Ohio and played football at Miami of Ohio. Too bad he wasn't a better coach because if he was I would have him take Tressel's place. I love Tress but when you bring discredit on the university, ESPECIALLY after the fiasco of the John Cooper years, it is time for you to go.
Btw, am I the only one that thinks Zook always looks constipated on the sidelines during a game?
At the end of the day, I think we will do just fine without the TATT5 and Coach T for the first 5 games, but in my honest opinion, I think we would be even better if Coach T stepped down. NO ONE is bigger than the integrity of the Ohio State University and even though he has done some wonderful things here, his latest actions have undeniably stained the university and the program.
So you provide your own cardboard and permanent marker, big whoop.
Congrats, though, if you are self employed and making it in these tough times. And btw, I'm not a laid off plant worker. I work for a consulting firm. (SNORE)
Really? I'm sure it was tough playing USF, Appalachia State, Tennessee (snore), UK (snore), Miss St (snore even though you lost), Georgia (horrible again this year), Vandy (snore), and so on. Wow. Now THAT is a power schedule there.
What about this upcoming year? Florida Atlantic, Alabama Birmingham, Furman, Vandy, UK...etc. etc. etc.
Lil 10? haha Like THAT is a new one. Ever heard the one where the SEC is overrated? I happen to believe that. I believe they have more mediocre teams than national powerhouses. Sure Alabama, Auburn (this year), Florida, Tennessee (occasionally) and Georgia are tough year in and year out. But then there is Kentucky (snore), Vanderbilt (snore), Ole Miss (snore), Arkansas (usually a snore but this past year great), South Carolina (snore), and Mississippi State (snore) who might as well be in the MAC. The Big 10 is like every other conference whereas they have a few great teams and then some who SHOULD be in the MAC. It is what it is, but the SEC is no God of a conference like all you 'good ole boys' like to think.
The recruit can do whatever he wants, but let's be real...the coaches get these kids to choose their program by promising playing time, NOT getting red-shirted and then hope you make the starting lineup someday. No gun to their head...just a bunch of mumbo jumbo lies to get what the coaches want. Let's face it, if Saban gets 20 kids to commit but he only has 10 scholarships, he just took 10 potential star players out of the pot for anyone else to get. And then what, these extra 10 players just rot and waste their talent on the practice squad? That is shady.
No, but the coaches offer more scholarships than they actually have to get the player to commit to their program, then they redshirt them or weed them out. But in the end, they make sure the recruit doesn't go to some other program by getting them to sign first. MOTTO: Sign 'em first, worry about 'em later.
I was in the Air Force for 22 years...been to Iraq a couple times, Kuwait a couple times...crazy over there. I remember getting out of a bunker in 2004 just in time to see Mike Nugent kick a 55 yard field goal to win a game over Marshall (Sept 11, 2004). Give your cousin my Congrats on making it back and a big Welcome Home.

Enough said losers!

Even so, you are right with what you are saying. Preach it brother.
