However...
Jason has shown signs of life when at the helm of the offense, but as soon as you think he is going to start breaking out he goes back to square one.
He makes mistakes running with the football in his hand behind him where on coming defenders can easily smack the ball out of his hand or just take it from him as it has happened at least twice this year. His awarness is seemingly all but non-existent. Wide open recievers and he will not see them, he can no even complete a pass when he runs past the line of scrimage, in fact when he does that he throws INTs.
He has so many things working against him already but at the end of the day he makes some seemily bonehead mistakes and throws. I for one, as a Redskin fan wish the way he was treated was better, and I wish they have an O-line to protect him and would have found a coach a system and an OC that could have stayed in tact to help him develop. They have stunted his growth as a professional QB. He may never be given a real oppurtunity again with the QB classes coming out over the next few seasons. The young QBs are flooding the NFL.
I understand you are running a bussniess Dan, you have to make money. There is a right way to go about it. If all you want is a paycheck sit back and collect. The fans would appreciate it more then what you are doing now. You have turned a great orginaztion into a joke. It is the worst run franchise in the league.
I just hope more and more skins fans stop going to the game. Only problem is being so close to NY, Baltimore, Philly Pitt and other major city hubs the other fans from other teams will still keep coming. They could care less about the redskins nor do i blame them. But a message needs to be made to Snyder that he is not well liked and should give mack to the fans rather than take away.
Sueing season ticket holders, changing the Tailgating rules to make it next to impossible to enjoy yourself prior to the game, no signs, ruin the team by trying to run it without knowing dick about football. Come on Dan, lets get some things straight... your job as an owner is to sign paychecks, create a envornment the fans want to be a part of and fill the seats. If you can do those 3 things you will be alright. But you are failing at all but the paychecks and the ones your signing have way to many zeros at the end of them for players who are not deserving, so i guess you can consider that fail too.
I would rather you do nothing then do what you are doing... so step back enjoy the cash and let the people who know football do their thing.
I hate when fans say things the team should do because generally the normal fan knows nothing about running a team, we have ideas and try to make sense of them. In your case... I think I could do it better.
We spent a draft pick on Brennan. Lets use him.
Campbell, sorry bro. I wish you the best but your situation in your time in DC has been not convienient to say the least. Hopefully you will have success some where else but likely not here.
Colt - Starter
Collins - Backup
Campbell - 3rd String
The Skins blew there chance to be in contention for the play offs with stinking up the easy part of the schedule. Lets get brennas feet wet, work through some kinks and get him use to NFL defenses. Who knows he might surprise some people he might be a dud. But none the less give him the rest of the season (short of injuries) to prove his worth and to help him develop. Next year we will have a QB that has 8-9 games experience and would not be like starting never playing more than a couple possesions in a real NFL game.
I just hope i can hear him running around and rolling on the floor screaming "Help my baby Jesus, Help me Tom Cruise!!!"
Yes at times he had safty help but lets give credit where it is due.
Randy got beat by Revis that day!!
LT could possibly go down as a top 5 RB of all time if he can manage to rush for 1200-1400 yards another 2-3 years with about 12 scores each season. Combined that with his 400-600 rec yards he would get each season and 3 rec TDs. That is asking a lot of a normal RB and due to his age his window might be closing. But hard to put AP over him already.
It says his second son in the posting.... and furthermore, how could you not figure this out. If George Forman is the first, He named his first son George, so he is the II so that makes his second son the III.
Come on man, I expect more than this from the human race.
I am no Favre lover, I am a skins fan I could care less... just tired of seeing people bash him for the wrong reasons. If you are going to do it, base it off of something he has done not what people write on him.
Last year in the playoffs I thought it was a good move to put Varly in durring the Rangers series however I was hoping they would have at least started Jose to begin the Pens series. You could have always put Varly back in if theo played like poo.
Anyway... I just hope the Caps can continue to improve this year. They have a good young squad and should be another good season.
