I'm a huge Notre Dame fan and would love to see Tate and Clausen come back. For Clausen to think he his ready for the NFL is foolishness. Clausen has never one the big game at Notre Dame and while he has improved night and day since arriving, he would be nothing more than a after-thought draft pick at best. He is not in the same league as some one like Tim Tebow. Tebow is ready for the NFL, but Clausen would be only another Brady Quinn - big in South Bend, but that's about it.

Remember this is the same guy who said he was coming to South Bend to win four national championships and three Heisman's. If his NFL dreams are as cloudy as that, he's doomed.

Clausen leaving?? So he can be a scout team QB on some crap NFL team? Just like Quinn, Clausen has yet to win the big game.

He'd be better off coming back and proving himself a little more.

Weis' season has been full of blunders that are just not acceptable on a continuous basis. He gave the ball back to Michigan with minutes left in the game and got stung by Forcier. He should have ran the ball more against Navy instead of going three and out many, many times. And against Pitt, the offensive line just couldn't stop possibly the best front four in college football. He had no answer for it.

Sorry Chuckles, you're time is done.

Too bad Charlie couldn't have focused a little more on Navy, USC and Michigan. All very winnable games.

I bet my left arm that if Florida or Texas was attempting a late 4th quarter comeback (ala Navy), they wouldn't have given up a safety to put the game out of reach. What offensive package was he calling??

As a Leaf fan, I hope the Leaf's move on and make the decision for him. It turns out now that he may not even commit to a team by the start of the season. At that point, the Leafs are screwed.

Take what little time is left and spend Sundin's salary money elsewhere.
