Stewart buys CNC Haas, changes name to Stewart Motorsports. In 2009, with his contract running out at RCR, a sucessful NNS team, and a long friendship and driver owner relationship with Stewart, Kevin Harvick Incorporated buys into Stewart Motorsports. With a vineyard that needs tending, feeling a weariness of being in the business so long, and still not completely over the death of a best friend, Richard Childress agrees to merge RCR with the Stewart/Harvick venture, take on a Richard Petty like ambassador role, and watch the newest NASCAR superteam pile up the hardware and rake in teh dough.
Congrats on finding a sponsor Kenny. Maybe next time SI will put a head shot of you with the article rather than a photo of your car being obscured by a guy who is probably putting you down another lap.
Thanks Kelvin. Next time, write a letter.
Excuse me, I have a call coming in.
I like Terry, but enjoy the retirement and your legacy. Awesome Bill retired how many times already. I understand that racing is in their blood, but what about integrity, and having the sense to know when enough's enough, and giving up and comers their shot?
I think he can pretty much write the check and Theo would sign it.
Why can't they come up with a different term to use once in a while? Just to mix it up. Sounds like they're all stranded in the rain or something. Dallenbach isn't offering the tour of the track anymore is he? There's your ride.
And I wasn't aware that having the logo of a baseball team as an avatar made me any less qualified to comment on the increased stupidity of recent decisions made by NASCAR, a sport I also happen to be a fan of.
You're not about to deny my opinion based on an avatar, are you? Because I'm more than willing to consider yours, misspelled username and all.
