Posted Thursday March 05, 2009, About: Yankees may end A-Rod's WBC stint
and now we find out that he'll be out for up to four months!! OMG!! How's ESPN gonna cope? Who're they gonna deify to high heaven....oh, I forgot, there's always Manny Being Manny Being Manny Being Manny Being Manny....silly me!
Posted Wednesday February 25, 2009, About: Why Celtics want Marbury
he'll fit right in with Boston--it's a team full of over-rated, selfish, self-possessed divas whose only reason for living is their obligatiry ESPN highlights. Am I the only one who's had it up to here with KG's Tarzan imitation and Paul Pierce's chest thumping? I probably am, but, hey, I don't like Kobe or LeBron either.
Posted Wednesday February 18, 2009, About: Selig: Don't blame me
I'll give you that it happened under Selig's watch, but the blame can't all be put on him. GMs, owners, agents, the players: they all share the blame. We're in an era of the mega-ego Baseball player; the player who has no respect for the game, but only has respect for his stats and how many ESPN highlights he gets. That's all that matters. Oh, and the size of his contract, too. Anything that'll pump up their stats, they'll do it. I haven't trusted A-Fraud since he signed that ridiculous contract with Texas and now think even less of him and his supposed talent. If you thing MLB will do anything to him, forget it. You don't touch the "best player in Baseball" for something that trivial. If Selig had any backbone, he'd make A-Fraud an example and suspend him; if not for year (wouldn't that be lovely!!), at least for a large portion of it. But will it happen, fuggetaboutit!
Posted Monday February 09, 2009, About: Should Yankees dump A-Rod?
What?!? Dump A-Fraud? And lose all that revenue from people coming to the balllpark to yell "Steroids!" at him? No, the Divas in Pinstripes don't have the guts to cut their ties with him. They didn't with Giambi; he stayed the whole year. No, they won't do anything. They're like the Dallas Cowboys: the more scandal and controversy there is swirling around, the more publicity they get. It's their Crack Cocaine.
Posted Wednesday January 28, 2009, About: Dodgers, Manny remain miles apart
Manny Ramirez has become one of the most over-rated, over-hyped, arrogant, over-paid, over-televised and over-everythinged divas in Pro Sports--not just Baseball. Every time I see his face on my TV, I grab the remote and change channels. He's being treated as just a little south of God by the media, especially ESPN, whose "Manny Being Manny" schtick is getting oldder and older by the minute. I truly wish that someone would slap Ramirez and remind him that he's mortal, he's a human being, not the demi-god he's starting to resemble.
Posted Wednesday January 28, 2009, About: Why Cubs may pass on Peavy
That's the worst thing they could do! They already have a good starting rotation; Peavy'd just be the icing on the cake, so to speak. With new owners and lotsa dough, don't just sit there, Cubs GM! DO SOMETHING!
Posted Monday November 03, 2008, About: Is Vick's NFL future in Oakland?
he'd probably do better in the AFL. I wouldn't want him on my team, no matter what his "body of work" looks like.
Posted Monday November 03, 2008, About: Nuggets want more than Billups for Iverson
The High and Mighty A.I. might go someplace where he's NOT a one-man team? Wow, imagine that! His overinflated ego would take a pounding. Then he'd spend all his time sulking like any good pseudo-superstar and **** to his agent.
Posted Monday November 03, 2008, About: Why Red Sox have shot at Teixeira
It's too bad we can't give Boros a dozen or so Prozac or Valium or something and just knock him out until Mark signs with somebody, preferably the Sox. That might just make things a lot easier for GMs to digest.
Posted Friday October 17, 2008, About: Cowboys not closing door on Pacman
there are too many pouty children in the NFL as it is. If Roger Goodell had any cajones, he'd start a zero tolerance policy to keep these self-worshipping demigods under control.
Wow, if he did that, he'd end up having to fill up every team out there. What a concept!
Posted Friday October 17, 2008, About: Law to Cowboys or Packers?
does it really matter? Both teams are media darlings and seemingly can't make a mistake (cough, cough, Adam Jones, cough, cough).
Posted Thursday October 16, 2008, About: Bobcats lining up Morrison trade?
isn't it amazing thta with all the years that ESPN spent glorifying Morrison and JJ Reddick...and where are they now? Hardly in any highlights at all. The Bobcats might better off without Mr. Stache and get somebody who can actually PLAY. See, he's used to being the one-man team (hell, aren't they all in college?). He needs to be in a place where he can be the king of the court and just tell him teammates to stay on the bench. He can do it all by himself (hell, can't they all?).
Posted Thursday October 16, 2008, About: Sources: Romo wants to play Sunday
of course Romeo Romo has to play, his ego won't let him stay out. He's GOT TO HAVE HIS ESPN Highlight, for pete's sake!! I'd really laugh my arse off if he did play and injured himself so badly that he had to be put on ice for the rest of the season. I wonder how long Jessica could stand having him around the house b4 she got tired of him?
Posted Thursday October 16, 2008, About: McCourt considered asking Jones for refund
The Braves are looking like frickin' Rhodes Scholars for letting the High and Mighty Mr. Jones walk. He never came off as having an ego until his walk year when he seemed more interested in how much he could bilk out of some suitor than what he could do with a bat. Add the dismal return on Furcal and everything the Braves have said bye-bye (or is that Buy-Buy) that has landed in Smogville has come a collective cropper.
Posted Thursday October 16, 2008, About: Which teams will make a run at Manny?
I've thought all along that MannyBeingMannyBeingMannyBeingManny (say it till you get sick and tired of it) was a Yankee at heart. He's got the credentials: huge ego, flaming arrogance, the belief that he can do something like take a phone call inside the score board during a pitching change and that nobody will have the cajones to tell him no...puh-LEEZE!!! Can you imagine what his personal network, MSPN, would do? They'd make that the headline on SportsCenter (aka MannyCentral) and that's all you'd hear for the entire hour. Wherever he ends up, managment better settle in for a circus that'll make the one that surrounded Barry Bonds look like a game of Solitaire.
Posted Saturday October 11, 2008, About: Hank: I'm still in charge
it's time that Hanky-Poo looked around and saw that the teams that are currently successful-read IN THE PLAYOFFS--haven't gone out and thrown barrels of money at these over-paid prima donnas like Santana. Look at how Tampa Bay's done it--home-grown talent! And that's in his own division, for pete's sake! The Steinbrener clan is too caught up in itself and its association with these over-priced clowns to see that. They've been practicing this money game for several years and when was the last time the Pinstiped Prima Donnas won a World Series?
Posted Friday October 10, 2008, About: Mussina may test free-agent market
chuckle, chuckle. You think Mooooosina's going anywhere? Please! He's made his life being a sub-par pseudo-superstar pitcher and he's been stuck in a clubhouse with a bunch of self-posessed divas in pinstripes. I'll be shocked if he leaves.
Posted Friday October 10, 2008, About: Why Andruw Jones won't join Dodgers
Jones has become the poster child for the over-paid, under-achieving pseudo-superstar who has been reading his stat sheet more than studying opposing pitching. His career went in the terlet his last year with Atlanta because he was so caught up in making a big splash so he could cash in on his walk year. Well, guess what? The LA Smog fell for his bit and are now paying a very large price.
Posted Wednesday October 08, 2008, About: Plaxico shows no remorse
of course he doesn't..he's the Mighty Plaxico! He's getting into the T.O. Prima Donna bit. And I still think his name sounds like a freakin' gas company!
Posted Wednesday October 08, 2008, About: Why T.O. cried on sideline
poor little T(erribly) O(verrated)! He was probably boo-hooing because he didn't get what he considered his weekly quantity of touches. He expects at least 40-50 per game or his ego takes a hit.
Posted Wednesday October 08, 2008, About: Manny won't return to Indians
frankly, I could care less where MannnybringMannybeingMannybeingManny goes. He's turned into one of the biggest prima donnas in all of Baseball...he comes close to being a Prima Donna on a Barry Bonds scale, but barely misses hitting the top spot. He's been so ever since ESPN started this MannybeingMannybeingManny schtick which is getting very, very, very old. He really needs to go to a place where there are other Prima Donnas...like Yankee Stadium, perhaps.
