Posted Tuesday December 08, 2009, About: Did Raptor show up Bulls?
I'm sorry, where does it say the Bulls are the ones complaining about this? The entire article is about the Raptors. Quit calling them whiny and complainers when they aren't the ones complaining about it. Actually read the article dumbasses.
Posted Tuesday December 01, 2009, About: Tate: Irish hire will affect NFL decision
haha taylor mays played the entire USC ND game. Every player 7 games into a season has bangs and bruises. He got owned by Tate on two TDs. The first one Golden caught in the endzone and was laid out of Mays but still held onto the ball. The second was a slant when Mays came in for the huge hit Golden just bounced off him, Mays fell, Golden stood over him in the endzone.

Hate ND all you want, who really cares, Tate has proven his ability. Their inability to win games has nothing to do with him.
Posted Sunday November 22, 2009, About: Clausen, Tate mum on Notre Dame future
you've watched his mechanics and they aren't top notch.... that's interesting because Jimmy is known for his mechanics and his dead-on accuracy. Enjoy watching the NFL draft this year when all you hear is McShay and Kiper talk about how accurate and mechanically sound this kid is. Hate Clausen all you want, he's got talent. I guarantee you every reader, hate or love ND, will laugh at you when they read that comment "I've watched his mechanics"...yeah because you know best.
Posted Tuesday November 17, 2009, About: Three-team trade may include Gonzalez
I know how the white sox and other baseball scout websites feel about my team's minor leaguers, I'm sorry you don't, and I trust their opinion over yours. But you're right, I don't know what's going to happen. Nice blanket argument that can be applied to every facet of life. I can guess how Jake Peavy is going to pitch because he's proven on the major league level, and seeing as how I've seen Clayton Richard pitch enough MLB games to know his +4 ERA with the Padres (wow, Petco is such a hitter's park) won't be good enough to get him a Cy Young Award, I feel comfortable with my original statement.
Posted Tuesday November 17, 2009, About: Three-team trade may include Gonzalez
as a devoted white sox fan, they definitely did not rake the minor league system in the Peavy trade. You just assume that because you saw he was traded for a handful of prospects; you actually have no idea what you're talking about. The padres can have those prospects, Poreda is the only one I'd rather keep, but for Jake Peavy, it's no question.

Posted Monday November 09, 2009, About: Weis putting blame on Irish players?
im not sure why people are ragging on Clausen. I know he had his extremely arrogant, over-the-top commitment press conference at the college football hall of fame etc. It is understood in the Irish realm, at least, that this was orchestrated by Weis. Now, Clausen definitely was an arrogant ass when he was a freshman, and boy did he look like an idiot. But starting last year and definitely this year, he has shown his commitment to the team, coming back into the game after some injuries, he's said all the right things, he plays hard and he has proven that he doesn't quit.

So bash Weis all you want, he deserves every word of it, but I'm confused as to why people hate Jimmy. He appears to be vastly different from the cocky quarterback he used to be. It's not Jimmy's fault ND lost to Navy. He threw for 450 yards. It's not his fault Michael Floyd dropped an easy 50 yard pass on their drive with 2 minutes left. Maybe it's his fault for hitting Floyd in the back, but maybe it's Floyd's fault, only they know. But saying Clausen is a bad quarterback because he can't beat Navy is insane. One player doesn't win or lose games by himself. I'd gladly let Jimmy be my quarterback, the guy has proven his ability this year.

Hey bears haters, remember how it's not even week 2 yet? We shot our mouths off about our QB being great before he even had a snap? Yeah, that may be bad, but so is declaring him a terrible QB after one game, so you're just as stupid i guess.
Posted Monday August 10, 2009, About: Report: Why Kane helped beat cabbie
the world's ready to let michael vick play football again i think people will eventually forgive kane for this one.

as an aside, in america you're better off killing a human (see: Donte Stallworth's 23 days in jail) than killing dogs.

dude, i was being sarcastic, you seriously need to relax.
Posted Monday August 10, 2009, About: Report: Why Kane helped beat cabbie
to be fair, the police report says nowhere that they broke his nose. if you read it, it talks about swelling, bruising, cuts, broken glasses, everything but a broken nose. if patrick had broken his nose, i think he'd be a jerk. but he didn't, so i'm going to say patrick was being generous. or he couldn't hit that hard.

it'll tick off good old jdogg over there to read this, but i think you're absolutely right.
Posted Monday August 10, 2009, About: Report: Why Kane helped beat cabbie
so then maybe speculation is best left aside for both people like you who say there is no more to the story, and people like me who think the possibility exists that there is more to the story. Either way, he looks bad, and will continue to look bad, and is going to be incessantly verbally attacked on the ice for this one.
Posted Monday August 10, 2009, About: Report: Why Kane helped beat cabbie
it's very possible he didn't know who he was, but patrick kane is a huge star in buffalo, and was just seen on tv two days earlier with the mayor in a ceremony to open a special ice rink in the city, which Kane funded or something like that. Point is, let's say the cabbie recognized it was Kane, he's not looking for 20 cents, that's a stupid suggestion, he's looking for the 6 figures, minimum, he's going to get in a civil trial if he accuses kane of hitting him. which kane may very well have done I don't know, but the cabbie isn't looking to take 20 cents from kane, he's looking for a few more dollars.
Posted Monday August 10, 2009, About: Report: Why Kane helped beat cabbie
j dogg, we get that you have it out for this 20 year old, and he may very well be guilty. but if it were up to you, then i bet kobe, the duke lax players, and ben roethlisberger would all be in jail right now. because as we know, the plaintiff's story is always completely true, without a single detail left out. the fact of the matter is you simply do not know what happened, i do not know, and no one else knows except kane and his cousin (if they were sober enough to remember) and the cabbie himself. go ahead and make your jokes about kobe deserving to be in jail, yada yada yada, but you know i'm right. stop talking like you know exactly what happened in that cab.

Posted Tuesday May 05, 2009, About: Bulls lining up for D-Wade?
in a league based on preferential treatment, it is a known fact that the best players, who are playing the best in that individual game, get a significantly greater portion of the calls. shooting 2-12 from the field and shooting that many free throws often...often, not always... indicates that the refs are bailing you out. it's not a knock on rondo, it's a knock on the inconsistency of nba officiating.

and thanks for the description of a foul, i know all about it after rondo went street fight on the bulls.
Posted Tuesday May 05, 2009, About: Bulls lining up for D-Wade?
you must be forgetting the second half, when they shot 26 free throws, including 12 for rondo. i dont care who you are, if you shoot 2-12 from the field you don't really deserve that many calls, even if you are kobe or lebron.

wade is a 2 guard, rose is the point. they do not play the same position.
