I know that this has probably been adressed before, but Hines Ward has been playing for the Steeler Nation his entire career. So why mess with a good thing? He's lost a step or two over the years, but he doesn't so any sign of wanting to throw in the Terrible Towel.

I have been a serious die hard fan of the Steelers forever. They are, in my mind, the best franchise in football. Sure, they have their issues just like every other team.

Green Bay got LUCKY! They had the game handed to them by the refs. First the no no last year, and now this. What will be next?

If you all are thinking what I am thinking of, isn't Anheuser Busch one of, if not the biggest backers for the Cards? Isn't their name on the front of the building that bears their name? AND aren't they one of the biggest producers of that all american lager sold around the world? I hope you all know what I am getting at. They should have a big enough influence to keep Albert in St Louis.

I am too. However, the fallout from AP leaving the only team he has ever known and (from what I can tell) has been good to him. He doesn't want to be DH. He wants to play! Period, end of story. SGB, we can only hope. The only thing that will tell us is time. And hopefully Lady Luck will be on our side.

We all fear this may happen, but we have to remain hopeful. But if it does happen, what will the Cardinals get in return? Scraps is what I am thinking of. Albert's agent and the Cards' front office needs to get something worked. And quick!

This is the same concern with Albert playing the outfield as playing third. The elbow may not hold up to the rough throws the we have all seen many third basemen make. Get your head out of your ***, Dewitt, Moz. etc. Keep him in a Cardinals uniform. I guarantee you if he were to go elsewhere, we'd get _________ (use your favorite adjective here) for what we get in return.
