But yeah, dude's gonna be a RB...
Bob Stoops biggest "problem" was Adrian Peterson, who sent the entire team into "I don't have to play too hard, AD will carry us" mode.
For the record, we've won 3 BIG XII titles in a row, and we've won 6 of the past 12. That is a dynasty, because we've won more than 3 "championships". It's not a national dynasty, but it's a conference dynasty and it's damned impressive.
Also, Bob Stoops is a family man more than anything else. His family is settled down in Norman, and he's not going anywhere until his kids graduate high school. That's why OU is the luckiest school in America, and every true Sooner fan I've ever talked to have bad things to say about the players for not playing hard, not for not being coached well.
Bob Stoops approach to bowl preparation has been to get the younger kids some reps and the older kids some rest. Does that result in some rust? Apparently so. Look for a different kind of preparation this year.
Finally, look for the OU/UF game to look a lot like the OSU game, a spread run/pass option attack featuring a lot of breakaway speed and a QB capable of throwing it deep or keeping it for a gain of 15 or 20... A few breaks on the defensive side of the ball will spell victory for whatever team comes up with them...
