Which, BTW turned out very well for Boston. Lowell regained his stroke at the plate and became a clubhouse leader as well as World Series MVP.

I'm kinda torn about taking Wells as part of the deal. He makes an awful lot of $$$$ and unlike the Yankees, the Red Sox do have a budget. That 20 mil is a lot to designate to one player, especially one who has spit the bit since signing his Megadeal. On the other hand, I remember Wells just killing Boston on a regular basis with his glove and his bat before that contract. He's got some talent, could he revive his career on the Sox?

Yikes. I think I paid $300.00 give or take 3 0r 4 years ago for my R-7. They did throw in a brand new Taylor Made fairway wood and a couple of Head Covers though.
