dude, there are debates about facts and there are debates and exerting domination over the other person, you tend to start more of the latter, as soon as someone disagrees with one of your dissertations about how smart you are and how stupid they are you are suddenly extremely busy (doesnt look like it by your count of posts) or the other person is ignorant

I've seens this tactic many times, someone challenges a wild, groundless assertion and gets attacked as being ignorant
"Inter is a disgrace because they didn't start a single italian", "inter is hurt by the lack of a gattuso type", and my favorite "milan doesn't care about the serie a" all of these claims that you base your arguments on are dubious at best
But I question them, and I become the ignorant one?
The truth is, these boards used to be fun, and I've learned a lot from guys like dwreck, oter, lvg, imperative voice and forbes, but has anyone else noticed the regular list go from 30 to about 5? What happened to gaucho, I is the man, cutigers and the rest? My guess is that dynamo hijacking every thread to practice his courtroom skills has something to do with it

im not offended, youre just spouting off on your soapbox (while insulting people's knowledge of soccer) but youre really jsut making crap up

milan doesnt care about serie a??? really??? just because they havent won it in a few years doesnt mean they dont care, this is the most ridiculous thing ive heard in awhile, you just said it because it supports your initial claim that inter needs a gattuso type

you always put in these lengthy posts about how much you know, and how stupid and wrong other people are, but when you look at the substance of what you say, its a whole lotta b.s.

well ive just read throught 20 or so posts on how awesome Milan is, and how crappy Inter is, and how the lack of a Gattuso style player hampers Inter, but yet inter has won the last 4 Serie A's (and most likely this this year as well, somehow the dots are just not connecting

but it must be my ignorance of how the italians view their football, pardon me

The club was founded on 9 March 1908 as Football Club Internazionale Milano, following a "schism" from the Milan Cricket and Football Club (43 members). A group of Italians and Swiss were unhappy about the domination of Italians in the AC Milan team, and broke away from them, leading to the creation of Internazionale. From the beginning, the club was open to foreign players and thus lived up to its founding name.

well, teams are looking for a reason (or excuse) not to pursue LD, either/or they want him on the cheap, that PK could be all they need,

so do I, LD cant add to his legacy by staying in the MLS? he can only hurt it by staying, it will become the "never was" scenario

if its the MLS that thinks they arent getting 'fair' offers for their asset, it would be a shame, if you truly love something you have to set it free, MLS should think of LD (as it should with all its players) as one of its children, not a balance sheet asset

but i think if gg was the rule, we'd have seen a goal after the 80th min last night, if hte game is tied, gg essentially starts around the 81st min, both teams would have been going all out for a last ditch goal (not just rsl)

since they knew pk's were looming, neither side really want to push up and expose themselves to a counterattck, neither at the end of reg or in the ot periods

since we dont seem to mind going against fifa by not having a single table, playing on field turf, non fifa calendar, etc, why not go to golden goal for the playoffs?
