Everyone's saying that if it takes tiebreakers 7-11 you're lucky, or you don't belong there, or blah blah blah, but if it's the rule than it should be followed.
Let's not forget that Detroit didn't make this move because they wanted AI necessarily, they did it for cap space next summer, so what's that tell you about AI's value as a player to the Pistons? What happened to Philly when he left? They made the playoffs the very next year, so how big of a loss was he to the Sixers?
Ricky LOVES being the face of the Rossoneri which also have a tradition of great Brazilians. He's not going anywhere. Cochino realizes what a terrible mistake he made going to Sh*tty and is trying desparately to lure anyone and everyone that may help that team.
From what it sounded like, it wasn't a single coin. Lamps made it sound like there was a ton of change on the pitch.
I love the double standard that most sports fans perpetuate. On one hand, athletes are all supposedly disloyal, mercenaries who chase the dollar. But when they put down roots, and become part of a community, and aren't happy when they get blindsided like this, they're not supposed to have an opinion or regrets.
Like LD, Cooper has paid his dues, played well, he deserves the opportunity to go abroad and cash a check for about $600k per year, up to $1m w/incentives rather than the reported $83k chump change he makes. When a player of KC's class is getting paid less than a fair number of the fans in the stands watching him, something's wrong.
