"If he joined the HEAT in the Eastern Conference, he would gain the benefit of 41 tax-free home games along with five on the road (three in Texas and two in Florida).

Just based on the 41-home game difference, $34 million from the HEAT would net about $1.75 million more than the same from LA.

If the Lakers were truly offering $36 million over four, that's roughly the same money from Miami over five.

If LA was only offering three and $30 million (netting $28.5 after CA tax), Odom may be better off locking in the extra $5.5 million from Miami (roughly) given his age."

This is the RECKONING! Wad3 knows Riley's M.O. He wants a blockbuster this summer, why; Wad3 knows he can get it done with help. They only won 46 or so games in '06 and went all the way. with Boozer & AI/Miller they can easily eclipse that win total. Wad3, is arguably one of the best crunch time players in the league. He has the look now & its only summer, just wait til the season begins & they have bona fide help. 4get all the AI bashing, if we can get him for 2 millie, I say get it done. If he flips out, send his ass home ala Jamaal Tinsley. Arison wipes his ass w/ 2 mil. Upgrade the roster & keep my dawg here long term...

Arison has told Riley he's willing to go over the cap for a big upgrade! WTF?!! Boozer is 20/10, MIA has no one in the post who can get close to that! So, to hell with the cap, sign AI for the 2 millie. He will get butts in the seats, plus he's a big endorser & media draw. The 2nd round of the playoffs will more than makeup for the hit for Boozers contract. We need an influx of talent, and Boozer & AI rep that! Get it done, to hell w/ the cap--Arison's loaded!!

Da Knicks have no chance of getting Wade unless there is an under the table agreement to partner him and Lebron on the squad. That said, bring Sessions to the MIA, they desperately need a playmaking lead PG to take the pressure off Wad3. If that happens you'll see D Wad3 develop a consistent 3 pt shot, as well as more range on his jumper.....Give it to you raw..Agreed, Wad3 is a beast, but NYC can't give him as much as Miami, unless they find him some endorsements...lol

Oh, yea good info about Thomas, he did know talent w/ Robinson, Lee, & Chandler. He's more like Joe Dumars than Doc Rivers....He's had more success judging NBA talent than MJ. Ya dig?

If McGrady doesn't get it done in Houston, he'll never live down the stigma of nevr escaping the 1st round. This is his best opportunity to get a ring, yet alone get past the 1st. His health hasn't been as strong as his game. He needs to hire a personal trainer, or do what D. Wad3 did---go to Attack Athletics Tim Glover and get his body & mind right!!!! This game trained MJ, and is their any doubt what he did for D Wad3???? T-Mac needs to get in condition, he can no longer depend on his athleticism any longer. He has to step his body up.....Or, he can always come to Miami and be a 6th man..or a small forward. Either way, he'd get that title and hometown love to boot.

makes good economic sense if you want to secure your $$$ today. The bottom hasn't fallen out of the market, but best believe its headed that way--so they better be real careful not to play themselves outta big $$$$...... I read where D. Wad3 was considering such a move.....though, i don't see Lebron doing this, though time will tell!! I'm hoping Bosh opts out like Boozer. Bosh & Wad3 would be a nice tandem. Then if Miller opts out we get him too. This time next year D. Wad3 will be the undeniable MVP. Not to mention, contending for a title.

These guys are legends & their words carry weight. Trevino has beaten the best of them in his career, and Watson is a quality golfer! Now, these guys are stating the obvious b/c Tiger has the ability to pull in non-golfers into the game. He can pull in marginalized segments to watch the game. He can pull in other professional athletes into the game---Charles, MJ etc. TW makes golf an international spectacle all by himself..... You'd better appreciate his all around game like Watson describes. TW is to golf what Barack Obama is to politics...Check!!!!

Yea, though i hate to admit it---his game is predicated on scoring, and thats to the detriment to the offensive system Detroit is known for. So, bring him off the bench so he can be himself, but keep him out of the starting lineup where his anathema for defense & ball sharing have cost the Pistons a dozen games at least. Is it really hard to play a different way, or do whats best for the team? I mean he would be an elite point guard, with his offensive skill set & ability to break down defenses---just share the damn BALL!! Get the team involved for 3 quarters & then dominate the rock in the 4th quarter!!! Then watch the D-town roll..... AI is too good a player to be one dimensional on the offensive end. Dude is in for a rude awakening this summer when his stock falls, and he struggles to make 1/4 of his present contract--1/2 at best!
