This is college ball, he didn't do enough to warrant losing his whole season as Dez Bryant (sarcasm here) did. At first I thought he did because in my view it is always a cheap shot to punch a guy who isn't looking at you but the guy who baited him was a chicken shirt for saying something and looking away, and also because he then went after some fans and even punched one of his teammates.

All of that was bad but it's not a capital offense, the kid is sorry and needs to get back on the field to improve his chances in the workforce, i.e. the NFL. People get away for more heinous things that what Blount did all the time.

For the record, I don't like Oregon, Phil Knight and those AWFUL costumes they call uniforms, hah hah.

Agree 100%, someone had a good proposal, if you play Div II schools in any one season you should be awarded a slot in a BCS bowl. The Floridas, Texasses, NDames, et al should not resort to these types of games.

The best solution is to do away with these "preseason" or "exhibition" games, institute championship games in conferences that don't have them (Big 10+1, Pac-10, etc) and eventually go to an 8-team playoff. Use the BCS bowls for those games and make the other teams fight for the other bowls.

For the record there is a difference in the traditional "N word" and the moniker used amongst black people. The "N word" was really disenpowered IMO but you really should not take the moral high ground, try being called a racial epithet for about 500 years and see how that works for your ethnicity. ; )

Will he even be allowed back is the key question? Well, since Selig is the commish how can that guy, GUILTY by association, decline him? Selig should go first and foremost but I do not like this at all, it sends the wrong message because this ROID monster never admited to everything he did and we know that the ANDRO was camoflauge, this guy had been juicing for quite a while.

Well what is dumb about it is it gets repeated so much that white people actually think they don't eat chicken and/or watermelon. I have yet to meet a white person who also doesn't like those two things. It's all about context, usually people make those remarks it is NOT said w/ respect, right?

I've always like Griese but what was he thinking, lol? Maybe Bob should have went out for a few tacos his dang self...everyone should, one of the best things to eat. Wonder if he knows now that Colombians don't eat tacos as much as we Americans, hah hah?!

I always thought Benson was going to do well at Chicago because he was a very good RB at Uni of Texas but he stunk up the place. To read the above is complete joke....sounds like someone is trying to make excuses for the fact the dude was always coming to camp out of shape and his attitude stunk.

Good for him that he has turned it around but he should feel very blessed that he isn't working somewhere making 50K per year instead of 2.5 million per season or whatever his salary is...
