Posted Monday May 25, 2009, About: Smith: Junior's slump bad for business
Dale Jr. has never been a great driver. He can drive a great car at restrictor plate race tracks. He can drive "easy" tracks. He's never EVER had the will to win like his contemporaries (Stewart, Johnson...etc. you know the champions of the past few years) have had. He's never in his Winston/Nextel/Sprint career been able to force a bad car into winning position. If he has a GREAT car, he can drive it to a win.

Problem with Hendrick is his car is not the lead dog on that team. Everybody knows the best resources go first to J and J.

Jr. can only drive a car to win if his car is the absolute best in the field. usually his 2 teammates have better cars. He's washed up, before he even got put on.

Santa Claus is a fine town.

Notice the article is in the Denver Post. Not a Chicago, Indiana, or National paper. They're going to continue to make him look as bad as possible...the real idiot here is McDaniels...they need to shift blame.
Posted Thursday February 19, 2009, About: Colts to part with Harrison
Its amusing that when it isn't about the Cowboys, all you guys do is comment about how funny it is that it isn't about the Cowboys.

Life-long Colts fan here, and I'm sad to see Marvin's great run with the team end...but I sure hope we can find a way in cap room to sign T.J. Houshamazilly. We probably can't find room, but it'd be a great fit.

Buddy Ryan is a legend. Ditka's more of a legend. But Buddy Ryan is too.

QBBC? HA!
Posted Wednesday September 26, 2007, About: Bears in need of franchise QB
It isn't about letting a player go, it's about free agency, and his desire to play there anymore. McNabb sees Kevin Kolb in the review mirror, remembers the way the franchise treated Garcia in McNabb's office, and will take the best offer available, even if its not Philly, especially if its not Philly.

Chicago will be his best offer. But, a forever banged up QB that will never finish a season isn't the franchise QB that Chicago needs either. Keep Griese at the helm, use the draft to pick up one of the big QBs coming out this season.

It isn't that hard. It's actually quite simple. One simple flag for debris on the track, plus the lucky dog rule is enough to fix a race. Just look at the Pepsi 400 the year Earnhardt died. A restart with 6 laps to go.
Posted Wednesday July 18, 2007, About: Where will Culpepper land?
Vick won't be on the field after a few game suspensions. He'll be suspended 16 games at least. It's absurd to think otherwise.
Posted Wednesday July 18, 2007, About: Where will Culpepper land?
How bizarre would it be that Pep and Joey Harrington are both let go and both end up in Atlanta competing again?
Posted Sunday June 24, 2007, About: Could Cowher be a Cowboy?
Jason Garret is being groomed to take over for Wade Phillips once Phillips retires or is fired. Garret will be America's Team's next coach.

I think the Panthers will have another empty year and John Fox will be out the door. Cowher lives in the area now, so his daughter can go to college, and I know that's important to him. There is enough talent there, and that organization has had the football philosophy that complements his style best for a while.
Posted Monday April 30, 2007, About: Dolphins deny that Ginn is injured
Cam's a midwestern guy, with a down-home attitude. He picked Ginn as the ninth pick because he's friends with him and his family, and he was a top 10 talent before he busted his ankle and couldn't work out or combine.

Quinn is talented, but not elite. Russell is the only rookie with a skill set that is exponentially more impressive than the rest of the QB pack this year.
Posted Tuesday April 24, 2007, About: Cowher may not return to coaching
Sure he says that before the first season where he watches football on tv instead of from the sideline...
Posted Tuesday April 24, 2007, About: For Bucs, second option is OT Thomas
Okoye is only 19! A top ten draft pick before you you've spent two decades on the planet? He is the best defensive pick in the draft.
Posted Tuesday April 24, 2007, About: Raiders may pick Johnson, not Russell
I think "quarterback of the future" rings with a tad more importance than "receiver of the future." Especially when that receiver would be on a team with Randy Moss. Moss can still go, and would care more if his flinger wasn't named Andrew Walter. Russell has a strong arm yes - but his most valuable gift are the sick throws he completes. He can put a ball in Randy Moss's arms, which will spark both Randy and the fans, something Oakland is in desperate need of.
