His first language is Portugese JGB. Still learning english, cut him some slack.

Smart move and Knicks in same sentence. Rare.
Posted Saturday November 30, 2013, About: Report: Derrick Williams couldn't grasp T-Wolves scheme
Adelman is not widely known as an easy coach to play for, so there may be something more to this. And he is a power forward which is the same position as Kevin Love, who knows how these issues and other stuff we might not even know may factor into him being a relative bust.

As an AZ native i've watched this kid be the hottest thing since Iguodala to grace Tucson(perhaps even a little better than Aaron Gordon is right now). It's tough watching him suck in the NBA. I hope Sac town affords him the opportunity to expand his game and be productive.
Posted Sunday June 23, 2013, About: Report: NBA invites 10 prospects to draft green room
Actually, Rondo's shooting has improved(yeah i said it), So has LeBron's, Wade's, Kobe improved his jumpshot in the offseason of '99 and perhaps even beyond.

Not to put Oladipo in the same category as the aforementioned greats but everybody can learn to shoot, even regular joes like us.

Does he have the work ethic and the drive needed to garner elite level talent shootingwise??? Therein lies the difference.
Posted Sunday June 16, 2013, About: Shabazz Muhammad to work out for Timberwolves
He has crazy offensive skills, is a decent enough scorer, suspect defense, but his upside says he might develop into something pretty good.

That being said........The boy is a jackass, did anybody see how he reacted after his teammate hit that one game winner??? The whole team was excited and celebrating his dumb**** was pouting.

He needs an Aaron Rodger type draft night where he sits and waits and waits, perhaps even a Geno Smith type draft where he doesn't get drafter til the next day but the NBA does it all in 2 rounds so i hope he falls into the early 2nd round just so he can learn some HUMILITY!!!!
Posted Wednesday May 15, 2013, About: Celtics willing to wheel Rondo again
This makes sense. OKC would get a true PG still young, and Boston would get someone who could carry the scoring load. We all know that Russ is erratic on the offensive end and dominates the ball sometimes so that would definitely be dope to have OKC with a relatively pure PG. Boston gets the young scorer they can rely on, and just need some minor adjustments and for all we know this team could wind up contending pretty early on in the post KG/Pierce era.
Posted Sunday May 05, 2013, About: LeBron James wins historic 4th MVP trophy
The issue with the MVP is the context in which it is applied to it's recipient. The league has for years issued it to the player whom has performed at the highest level of all, from a standpoint of on=court performance correlating to the team being elite. This is where the debate begins. Most OUTSTANDING player??(or biting from PIFA soccer, Player of the Year??) LeBron James hands down.

Most VALUABLE Player??? That's another situation. You could make the case for Melo, Durant, hell, even D-Rose riding the bench. You see how these guys change the complexion of their team's play.

Wording and context is what fuels this debate. But given what we all know the MVP of the NBA to denote, no one can deny LeBron. All world ****-bag, narcissist, arrogant jackass, best player in the league PERIOD!!
Posted Wednesday April 24, 2013, About: Wizards ready to give to the max for Wall?
Washington is going to wind up giving him a max deal, simply to secure him. There's some team out there dumb enough to enter a bidding war with Washington to pay him competitively, so just to get it out of the way and lock him in at 22-23 years old moving forward they're gonna give him the max.

Does he deserve such a deal at this point? HELL NO. But his play this season has been a rather compelling argument. If he progresses from where he is now into next year then the team should look into the max deal, but they're gonna shell it out to keep him.
Posted Tuesday October 09, 2012, About: Suns already in talks with Phoenix about new arena
In the context of this here article i'd just like to make aware that Sarver is barely a billionaire. His finances have fallen into question ever since he purchased the Suns, and he is also becoming widely regarded as a terrible owner.

And i sincerely hope they take heed to your idea of renovation. Because lord knows the city of PHoenix cannot afford this right now, not with lightrail debt sales taxes going into effect, neighboring Glendale is broke from all them stadiums. It is becoming increasingly expensive to live in Arizona.
Posted Friday April 13, 2012, About: Odom much more than 'on the radar' in Golden State
He's always been a sensitive little softy, going through stuff in life and always having a heavy heart therefore letting that stuff interfere with his on-court demeanor. If it's one thing he should've learned from Kobe is to use basketball as a refuge, or release from whatever is eating away at your soul. If you're angry, go out on the court and take that frustration out on your opponent. I gues he isn't built that way. He more than Ron Ar.... umm.... Metta World Peace needs a therapist. Whomever is gonna sign this guy needs to sit him down and have a long talk with him before even offering him a contract.
Posted Thursday March 22, 2012, About: Hill insists he's not over it
JGB come on, i'm disappointed you're disappointed in him. He's not gonna win a 'chip at all. regardless of where he goes. He doesn't want to be like Barkley back in the 90's running from PHX to the team that knocked him out two years after they went to the finals. That in my mind would be pitiful. Grant Hill is going to be a hall of famer, and the fact that he decided to stay put in PHX for the final couple years of his career only solidifies his legacy in my mind.

I usually lack respect for a lot of players who don't win championships but Grant Hill, knowing what he's been through deserves every right to make up his own mind as to how he wants to handle his career. Classy guy, glad he's on my team.

It's your opinion though i just thought i'd share a bit with you, no disrespect intended.
Posted Monday March 19, 2012, About: Oracle CEO looks into buying Grizzlies for San Jose
Seattle yes!!!! San Diego maybe St. Louis hit or miss prospect and Pittsburgh is a definite no no. That city will never support basketball, especially david Stern's brand.

Nontheless, this would be another disappointing relocation move in the nba as Memphis was just about to turn the corner putting a quality product on the floor in a small market.
Posted Friday March 16, 2012, About: The end of Linsanity
Take this thing for what it is. Jeremy Lin was given the ball and the confidence of his coaches, and was told to go do something. He did it. It ran through him, he made mistakes but his upside is great. The problem is 'Melo. Lin is great when running the floor and creating for others. 'Melo is terrific and most productive ONLY when creating for himself. It's not gonna work with Lin. One of them had to go. I'd prefer to watch Melo go.

More than anything Jeremy Lin still needs to develop but there is reason for the hype. For a couple weeks of february, he lived up to it.
Posted Thursday March 01, 2012, About: Roy: 'Good chance' of a comeback
Brandon Roy is young. Secondly, on those degenerative knees, he gave a stellar performance during the playoffs. He knows he will not be able to be the star he could've been, but if he can get comfortable on the floor, who are we to say no.

In this new era of modern medicine, anything is possible. Microfracture knee surgeries used to mean curtains for many NBA careers, jason kidd had it done, still [playing he about 45 now. C-Webb had 'em still played 7 seasons after. Amare did it twice and he still ballin'. Not saying it's microfracture but my point is the treatments that are available.

He did say "if this works". Let's just wait and see.

And being that it's a classy individual like Brandon Roy, I hope and pray he can pull this one off. I'd be happy if he did.
Posted Monday February 20, 2012, About: McGrady upset with shrinking minutes
T-Mac as been on the mend these last two seasons. and if you watch his minutes you will see that he has been contributing. Give him the minutes he will help the squad. He's not getting the minutes, he can't help the squad. He's getting $1.5mil to ride the bench, i actually appreciate him getting frustrated because every player in the league needs to be itchin' to get off the bench and get minutes. And make all the dumb jokes you want, you can't blame a former scoring champ for wanting to contribute.

This guy sucks. Isn't the Combine done by invitation?? Cause if so, how the hell did this dude even get invited.?
Posted Wednesday February 15, 2012, About: Reckoning looms for Sacramento and Seattle
^^Cosign^^ let's be honest. Basketball is a business and if it's not profitable to keep the team in that given city then they need to move on.
Posted Thursday February 09, 2012, About: Kaepernick gunning to start for Niners
This kid got skills. He has immense potential, and he's a competitor. The minute your backupQb's are content as backup Qb's then you need to cut 'em loose. Harbaugh and 49er nation in general should be happy to have this on their team.

With that said Mr. Kaeppernick, shut up. It's show and tell time.
Posted Friday October 28, 2011, About: Iverson would play for any team, no matter how bad
he could contribute, every team needs someone to fill out their bench. You know, dudes who do nothing but cheerlead from the sidelines, come in a play role player minutes. Help out in practice.....umm..... did i say practice?????

err.. sorry, nevermind.
Posted Saturday October 15, 2011, About: Rodman: Players should bow down
I tip my hat to you as race is indeed a rather unmentioned sentiment in this dispute. Spot on friend.
Posted Friday October 07, 2011, About: Garnett, on principle, erupts on players
Actually he did pass his SAT. He found out after draft night.

But i do Agree. KG shouldn't talk one ounce about this labor situation seeing the effect contracts like his had in previous labor diputes. And in these the final years of his career, he on the books for 20 mil+

Sad.
