Wow, never knew that. It'll never happen.

I know he's the "butt" of jokes, but I think he'd be a good backup for the Bears - as long as they don't pay him more than 3 mil.

You make great points, I just wonder why the new GM's first order of business wasn't shoring up that O line. It has to be the top priority this off season
Posted Friday December 21, 2012, About: Reconstruction project on Chicago's horizon
I respect all of your comments, but do you really believe that? The defense really has overachieved and is getting older (they'll especially miss Urlacher's speed in the Tampa 2). And the obvious - the o-line needs an overhaul - and they did not acquire even one in the draft or free agency - Cutler may not survive the time it takes to do that. As a Bears fan I hope you're right, but I have my doubts.

Lovie needs to scrap the Tampa 2 - great coaches evolve with the game. That D will dominate with great athletes against an average offfense. But as we've seen, it sucks against good teams. And I don't know if Lovie had any involvement in NOT acquiring even one o-lineman. Cutler may not be the greatest QB, but give the guy some help. An aging defense on top of that and the Bears may get worse before they get better.

He never was a good coach - the Lions have some great offensive talent and that's what kept him his job for this long.

It's too early in your carreer to be talking about that AP - talk about your team getting better
Posted Friday May 11, 2012, About: Bryzgalov takes a shot at Philly fans
Yep, I'm sure everyone feels sorry for you and that hefty paycheque - always knew signing him was a big mistake; I hope he proves me wrong. BUT, this Flyer fan will be the first to admit that we didn't lose because of Bryz - NJ totally outworked the Flyers in every aspect - that's why we're out. In fact in games 2 and 3 it was Bryz that played well enough to keep it close to give us any kind of chance to win.

Lol, that a boy Mike! It's nice to see someone in the media not be afraid of saying the "wrong thing". I think Crosby is the best player, but I can't stand the constant whining. Gretz was the same way in his younger years too.

They can franchise Forte next year too if they want.
Posted Friday March 23, 2012, About: Woodson: Was Aikman drinking?
I'm sure Aikman knows more than I do, but he sure didn't say Romo would have won the same amount of championships as he would have had he been on those teams. Romo can scramble better than Aikman and throw on the run better, but he hasn't shown that he can win the big game. A few years ago the Cowboys had a team that had a great chance of winning it all, but didn't make it because of Romo's late game INT's. He did the same thing last year in the game vs the Jets and the Lions - it wasn't because of being pressured; he just makes some very bad decisions at bad times. I suppose you blame that all on the head coach - Romo is great, but until he wins a title, he can't be regarded with Aikman. Sorry, but you can't just replace Aikman on those teams with a QB with great stats and say he woud have won too.
Posted Friday March 23, 2012, About: Woodson: Was Aikman drinking?
No doubt Aikman had a great supporting cast (E Smith is the all time leading rusher because of that supporting cast) but to say Romo would have done the same is a stretch. Let's not forget that those Cowboy teams benefited because Aikman was their QB. They all worked off each other. And the biggest factor to me in rating the top QB's is being as cool as ice when the game is on the line. Romo has not done that - every year we've been waiting for him to take the next step. And he's running out of time. As far as stats go; yea he is better than Aikman, but you know the old saying, "stats are for losers"
Posted Friday March 23, 2012, About: Forte's feelings hurt again
As a Bears fan, I'm glad they signed Bush - that gives them two excellent backs. And if Forte's knee doesn't hold up we know Bush can carry the load. I think if Forte plays well and shows no effects because of his injury, he will get signed. I see both sides argument, but it comes down to business. Professional athletes should wait 24 hours before commenting on breaking stories - I guarantee you 99% of the tweets wouldn't happen - initial reactions always change when thought goes into it.
Posted Friday March 23, 2012, About: Woodson: Was Aikman drinking?
So are you saying Romo is better? Why even hint that - Romo isn't the beginning of a hair on a pimple on Aikman's ****. Aikman is just being gracious with that comment - drinking or not.

Posted Tuesday March 06, 2012, About: Bills among eight teams after V-Jax
If the Bears do get him, he'll be overpaid, but he's their best free agent option going in to this season. I just see this guy having some great games, but not becoming an every down, game in - game out great player.
