You can forget the Dodgers, way too much turmoil in ownership right now for them to make a big trade much less a major trade and major signing.
The Angels have the prospects, the question is, do they want to spend the bucks on Halladay? I think they would rather resign Lackey for less and keep the talent.
Phillies have the most talent and will to offer outside of the division, especially after they Yankees schooled them in the series on starting pitching.
Now if a team is willing to take Wells in addition, that will ease what they have to give up. The only ones willing to take that kind of chance and have the money is the Yankees. Henry won't shell out that kind of payroll, especially since they need an outfielder, SS and SP. The question is, does Cashman want to spend that kind of money and take that kind of chance on Wells?
I look for Halladay to go to either the Phillies or the Yankees.

Don't see him going to the Yankees. They have Cervelli, Montero and Romine behind Posada. They could trade one and still have 2 young potent catchers. You might even see Montero next year as a backup, if not then definitely 2011.

Stick to what you know, which obviously isn't Marlins baseball. When they were getting 25k a night in 97, they sold off the team in 98. When they were getting 20k in 2003 they sold off the team in 2004. Tell me how many cities would put up with that crap?

It's not like the Gators don't get a percentage of the gate when they go on the road, so to say you're taking a 5 mil loss shows not only you cannot do the math but you know nothing of finance.
Additionally your refusal to play Miami and come down to So. Fla. has killed your recruiting down here. Who was your last 3 or even 4 star recruit from south of Orlando?
Miami chose the ACC over the SEC for multiple reasons. Academics, basketball, baseball and womens sports. Additionally the schools in the ACC better match Miami's size than the SEC.

But the bad UM team still beat FSU in their own house, against the fastest defense Mickey Andrews ever had. Not bad for a bunch of Freshmen and Sophomores.
Bad UM team, please! Maybe young, but not nearly as bad as the Noles. And the Noles young? I thought they were supposed to have the best OL in the country this year.

True most are flat, depends where you play. We have some public courses that have serious relief. at least for down here.
I'd love to go to NH and play, wouldn't mind walking either. i've played in Vail and that was some serious walking.
