Posted Monday October 06, 2008, About: Jerry tries to pep up sulking T.O.
Cowboys might just need a psychiatrist and a couch on the sidelines the rest of the season. TO, of course, is first in line. Jerry Jones standing over the psychiatrist with checkbook in hand waiting his turn as well.
Posted Thursday October 02, 2008, About: Kiffin to talk to Commissioner about Davis
Holy Gravedigger Batman, Davis looks like he is ready to kick the bucket. With his reputation, I belive Kiffin has a chance to get the money he is owed. He didn't play the suck-up card like Raider coaches before him. It' s not Kiffin's fault that the Raiders are underachievers - they need to replace Davis and then watch the Raiders rise from the "dead" (so to speak).
Posted Thursday October 02, 2008, About: Ocho Cinco: I'm going to kiss Cowboys star
Curious! It seems that all Cowboy opponents who "walked" or "Danced" the Star later became a Cowboy. I CANNOT imagine Ocho Cinco being a Cowboys especially with TO there. As those before me already stated he is doing it for the attention or he wants to big his butt kicked - either wya he'll come out of it looking like Ocho Stinko to me.
Posted Thursday October 02, 2008, About: Packers QB won't throw until Friday
If necessary, it'll give the young QB's a chance to shine. I don't anticipate Flynn or Brohm taking over on a permanent basis. Rodgers has clearly shown his capabilities to be a successful QB and suffers injury and pain with all the others. I have confidence in whoever plays on Sunday because although the QB is the signal caller, he's not the only talent on the field.
Posted Tuesday September 23, 2008, About: Clemens heartbroken over Yankee Stadium snub
It's been said several hundred times already so why fight the trend. Clemens can cry about it all he wants - the real tragedy is Joe Torre not being there. He was the leasder of a team that had prblems galore and he made it work - look at his success in LA. Yankee Management owe him an apology. I admired Clemens for years - if he had done the honorable thing like his former teammate (Pettite), this wouldn't even be an issue. He has only himself to blame.
Posted Tuesday September 23, 2008, About: Yankees' top free-agent target is...
I enjoy the success he is having with the Brewers but like many others (Yankee haters that is), I hope that if the Yankees give him 7-8 digit $$ only to see them fail as they have lately.

I love Sabathia and he deserves the best - just not with the Yankees!
Posted Tuesday September 23, 2008, About: Ex-Packer: Rodgers better than Romo
You know everyone is entitled to their opinion and although I am a big time Packer fan, even I can't agree with saying Rodgers is better than Romo. I also cannot say the Romo is better than Rodgers. Unless Romo wins the big one - he will be on a team with talent that can't win the big one. Also, it is way too early to judge Rodgers although how many QBs can you say start their first three games without throwing an interception. THe Cowboys are just able to win despite Romo's mistakes. The Packers, however, have the weapons but need to give Rodgers some time to find his receivers. I belive this was the big difference in the Cowboy win Sunday evening. I thins we should be able to judge these two better at the end of this season.
Posted Friday September 19, 2008, About: Brewers may lose Sheets for season
Just another nail in Brewers playoff hopes this year. I wish Ben a healthy recovery but unfortunately, I think his time as a Brewer is at an end.
Posted Friday September 19, 2008, About: Brewers-Giants trade brewing?
Come on - don't be frakin' ridiculous. If the Brewers traded Fielder for anybody, I would tune out the Brewers for good. This would just another indication that Milwaukee management really doesn't know what it is doing. Bad enough that they probably will lose Sheets and Sabathia next year in free agency - don't lose Fielder or anyone else now. I feel he deserves the money he wants!!!!
Posted Friday September 19, 2008, About: Vikings QBs keeping their distance
Just another loser quarterback on a useless Vi-queens team. Going with Ferotte isn't the answer either. Go Packers!
Posted Thursday September 18, 2008, About: Hochuli e-mailing apologies
Hoculi is a truly honorable person. I don't know if I could handle responding to "hate" email but Hoculi chose to tell Charger fans hwo bad he feels about it rather than ignore it. He is doing his best not to let himself get eaten up by it. He'll be a much better person and I have nothing but admiration for him now.
Posted Thursday September 18, 2008, About: Bogut should be healthy for camp
For the 1st time in several years, I am excited about the Bucks this year. They now seem to have the nucleus of a team that can make a run to the playoffs not to mention compete with teams like Detroit and Cleveland. Yes, Bogut seems to be injured much of the time but if he stays healthy - the Bucks should have a great year!!!
Posted Tuesday September 16, 2008, About: Referee Hoculi's future in doubt?
Funny thing - I was reading about how Coach Turner sent the tapes showing the blown call and of course the NFL announced Hoculi's downgrade - effectively giving himan "F" grade. The funny thing? -- Coach Shanahan said the officials did a great job and it was the best officiating team of the last 20 he graded. DUH!!!!!!!!!
Posted Tuesday September 16, 2008, About: Referee Hoculi's future in doubt?
If this had happened to the Packers, I'd be the first to blow my fuse. I feel for Charger fans and I would have felt for Bronco fans if the fumble was called correctly. No one wants to lose a game either way. I still have a huge amount of respect for Hoculi and he gained more respect for admitting his mistake. I used to be a baseball umpire some years ago and still remember the huge amount of stress I felt every time I made a close call for fear I would screw it up. Hoculi will pay the price and will be better for it. The Chargers will be back also - they're just too good.
Posted Monday September 15, 2008, About: Did Childress snub McCarthy?
Real Cute - who's the crybaby? Minnesota is 0-2 and in the cellar where they belong.
Posted Monday September 15, 2008, About: Did Childress snub McCarthy?
What a wiener! No class at all. He can't even be a man and admit he didn't want to shake hands instead of lying about it. His arrival in Minnesota was all hype and he hasn't done squat to live up to it. What a WIENER!!!!
Posted Friday September 12, 2008, About: Packers may hold Grant out
I agree! The Packers could beat Detroit by 20 without Grant and probably 20 with him. The lions would do better of they treid to get Barry Sanders out of retirement (but I think NOT).
Posted Thursday September 11, 2008, About: Allen's first Vikings game a bust
Give the guy a break. The Packer O-line was just too good that night. He might do better against the Colts or some other so-so team.
Posted Wednesday September 10, 2008, About: Sapp calls Urban 'classless dirtbag'
I remember a similar situation some years ago when the Dallas Cowboys kicked a later field gaols in a 21-6 win over my favorite Green Bay Packers. Although at first I was ticked off by Dallas running up the score, I discovered they only wanted to allow their kicker to tie a then record 7 field goals in a game. I had no problem afterwards. College is a little different where polls are determined weekly by how much a team beats an opponent. I am not a Miami or FLorida fan but I don't see an issue here. Miami fans like Sapp are expressing themselves as Miami Fans. Tebow explained it best - Miami and Florida coaches get paid to provide results. The Miami defensive coach didn't do his job while the Florida Offensive coach did.
Posted Tuesday September 09, 2008, About: Did Young quit on Titans?
Overrated Skills - college success doesn't always correspond to NFL success as in Young's case. For every good game he has - he has a couple "sad" ones although the Titans seem to win regardless of Young being the QB. I was a huge Young fan when he beat the Trojans a few years back. This was apparently a fluke. If I were the Titans I would be planning for another QB of the future in the 2009 draft.
Posted Monday September 08, 2008, About: Moss: Brady hit was dirty
Oh well, no more 19-0 or 18-1 talk this year! I feel bad for Brady as he is one of the few Patriot players I admire. I also feel sorry for Cassel - he has to work in that Belichek system now!
