Posted Thursday May 29, 2008, About: Quincy Carter's last chance
I always hoped he would pull through, but his drug problem ruined his chances of even being a backup in the NFL. I guess all I can say is lol Quincy.
Posted Tuesday May 13, 2008, About: Is Horn heading to the Cowboys?
I think this would be a great move for Dallas, as long as he isn't asking for much.
Posted Saturday May 10, 2008, About: Ellis defends Cowboys' Williams
We can't afford the cap hit...thats the point. And to be honest we don't have anyone that would be any better than Roy...at least Roy has experience and has played at a high level before. After the season the cap hit will greatly diminish which will be when we offload him. But Dallas will only get rid of him if he plays horribly this year as well. I think if he is released now it's like a $6.5 million cap hit (which is huge), if we wait until June 1 of next year it goes down by like 1 or 2/3rds)
Posted Saturday May 10, 2008, About: Ellis defends Cowboys' Williams
"Is it that he doesn't like Wade Phillips' variation of the 3-4? He's been playing in a 3-4 since he's been drafted."

Actually that's where you're wrong. When Roy was drafted we were still playing in Mike Zimmers 4-3 defense...and I believe that he played in that 4-3 defense for the first two years as well. He was a beast back then, to be honest I think it's more of a confidence thing than anything it's only the last 2 seasons that things have gotten really bad. He just needs to lose some weight, practice some more and study film to learn his assignments. He is probably distancing himself so that he can concentrate harder on keeping his job rather than being mopey.
Posted Sunday March 09, 2008, About: Cowboys considering Pacman
If any team can turn Pacman around it's Dallas, they have gone through lots of problems before...and now they know how to deal with it. If Pacman came over, he wouldn't get a big contract...he would most likely have to get a restructured contract for Tennessee before being traded. One thats full of incentives.
Posted Friday March 07, 2008, About: Pacman wants to be a Cowboy
Don't mention T.O. in the same sentence as Pacman...T.O. may be an ass at times...but he isn't a criminal...it's not like he needed to reform himself in the same way.

I wouldn't mind as long as he got a contract that was cheap and full of incentives if he plays well and stays out of trouble.
Posted Thursday March 06, 2008, About: Papelbon airs differences with Sox
The Sox should just pay him, he is worth too much to our team to scoff at 900k, thats peanuts compared to what he is really worth.
Posted Thursday January 24, 2008, About: Will 'Boys trade up for McFadden?
congratulations creeves...you win moron of the week. He ripped up 8 and 9 man fronts in COLLEGE...this is the NFL...we saw how almost the exact same type of Back (Bush) has done so far in the NFL. I for what it's worth think McFadden will be really good...but he isn't worth THAT much to us...we have the number 3 offense without him. I say go after Turner in FA if it's affordable and keep the 2 back tandem with barber and Turner. JJ is a bum and he can just leave, we know Barber doesn't care about splitting carries. We need another safety, Hamlin was fantastic this year and he's gonna get paid by Jones no doubt...we need to shift Roy to another team and either give Watkins a shot or draft someone. We also need a 3rd CB and a young big play WR, other than that the thing this team needs most is special teams help...our coverage was awful this year. Our offense needs depth but we certainly aren't wanting for playmakers.
Posted Wednesday January 23, 2008, About: Will 'Boys trade up for McFadden?
G8tor Fan,

Darren Woodson and Roy Williams aren't the same type of player...Woodson was an excellent cover Safety, in fact we used him as our nickel back to cover the slot WR right up until he was done playing football. Darren could hit, but unlike Williams he could cover too. Woodson is more comparable to Brian Dawkins...in fact they are practically the same player.
Posted Wednesday January 23, 2008, About: Will 'Boys trade up for McFadden?
Terry Glenn needs surgery that will take a year to heal...I don't think he will be playing anymore football..he'll pron call it quits...or Jones will drop him. We jsut need someone to compliment Barber...I would much rather see us draft some DB's and some WR's earl on. I cna't believe I'm saying this but Roy needs to go (I used to be a huge fan, and he is a nice guy) but man he has really regressed these last few years...especially after such a great start to his career. Hopefully Bill will be dumb enough to make move for him. I can't see is going after Samuel or Trufant to be honest. Henry has a huge contract and so does Newman...I can't see 3 massive contracts just for one position...unless someone takes a pay cut.
Posted Wednesday January 23, 2008, About: Will 'Boys trade up for McFadden?
Jones will be gone...I wouldn't mind McFadden...but it would both of our 1sts...which I think might be better spent on other positions. I would love to have him...but it's too costly. Although we don't need that many players...we have hardly any holes. Slaton will be a sleeper...he'll probably drop to us wiht one of our first rounders. And then maybe draft DeSean Jackson if we can wiht the other.
Posted Tuesday January 22, 2008, About: Deion questions L.T.'s toughness
The point is great players refuse to be benched because of an injury like a sprain, at least in big games anyways. Deion is right, I'm sure LT could have taken a shot and gotten right back out there.

Also I hope your not serious saying LT could even be done, it's an MCL Sprain for gods sakes. And before you say no one plays on sprains your wrong. T.O. played with a high ankle sprain and played quite well considering. His own QB played with a serious injury for god sakes. LT is meant to be a leader for his team and instead he sulks on the sidelines when things don't go well. Over the last year I've lost some respect for him, especially since he called another teams coach out.

Too bad FSU are going to get completely destroyed by Florida and Tebow, The weakest dog always barks the loudest.
Posted Saturday September 29, 2007, About: Romo dismisses contract rumors
Romo will re-sign at some point, this isn't really that big of a deal. Romo wants to stay and Jerry won't let him get away. But to anyone who says no other team would want Romo...you must be crazy! I can think of a few teams that could use Romo. Atlanta, Miami, KC, Baltimore, Tampa, possibly Carolina and Green Bay to replace the incumbents when they retire or stop being good enough. (I would rather have Romo as my future than Carr or Rodgers)
Posted Wednesday September 26, 2007, About: T.O. wants to forget overdose
Everyone loves to hate T.O. and that's all there is too it. The media fish for any little thing to do with T.O. and try and turn it into a big deal, he stayed out of trouble last year after the O.D. thing and he has been perfect this year. The media and everyone else loved to highlight his drops but ignore his broken finger and the torn muscle in one of them. T.O. never used it as a crutch though like a lot of other players would and he never sat out because of it. Now he is tearing it up again even more so than last year. Everyone seems to be waiting for him to implode but it won't happen, It's jsut people praying they are right because they don't want to see T.O. succeed and prove everyone wrong.

Posted Saturday September 08, 2007, About: Jacobs: Giants to 'whup' Cowboys
You think Strahan is gonna do anything? I'm literally on the floor in a fit of laughter, He won't make an impact...and as for the others in the front 7...the only one I'm worried about is Osi, that's it. as for your Secondary....yeah I look forward to T.O. Crayton and Witten ripping them to shreds.
Posted Saturday September 08, 2007, About: Jacobs: Giants to 'whup' Cowboys
Ware is always doubled...and he still gets tot he QB's...and with this new defense you Eli better be hoping his no name linemen don't miss their blitz pickups and blocks...otherwise it's gonna be a long night for little ol' Eli.
Posted Saturday September 08, 2007, About: Jacobs: Giants to 'whup' Cowboys
'Why are all the Cowboys' fans whining? I don't understand why these Cowboys even think they have a chance, considering Terrence Newman is probable, Greg Ellis out for another 2 -3 weeks and Terry Glen out fo the season!

So in essence Brandon Jacobs is just telling the truth!

Big Blue Wrecking Crew will make Tony Romo do the achie breakie all right!'

----------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------

Vauxhall you are a fool, please know what you are talking about before you start typing your message. Probable means Newman will play (and he is questionable, but I bet he still plays) and Glenn is out for 2 weeks...not the season...that was a mistake posted by the dallascowboys.com staff, they took it down and corrected it. But I wouldn't expect retards like you to actually know what they are talking about.
Posted Saturday September 08, 2007, About: Jacobs: Giants to 'whup' Cowboys
"Roy Williams sucks. Brandon Jacobs would freight train his ****. Plus he went to Southern Illinois where our cheerleaders could whup up on Roy Williams."

CanesPugnaces | 09/07/07

-----------------------------------------------------------------

^^obviously you haven't watched the Dallas games against the Giants where Roy has not once ever been run over by Jacobs...every time Jacobs has tried to run him over he has been stopped...and then there was the pinnacle of their clashes when Roy forced him to fumble on the goal line. Jacobs is an overrated bum...I know you should always be optimistic about your chances...but saying comments like he did to the media only fuels the other teams anger and desire to beat you.

I can't wait to see Eli sulking on the sidelines while Dallas are stomping the Giants defense.
Posted Saturday September 08, 2007, About: Jacobs: Giants to 'whup' Cowboys
lol, Brandon Jacobs...I'm sure Dallas are real scared of you and the Giant Crybabies. I fondly remember last year when they gave him the ball on 4th and 1 and he proceeded to get owned in the backfield by Ware. I look forward to T.O. ripping that shoddy secondary apart...this is going to get ugly and the Giants will look foolish for opening their mouths. The weak dogs always bark the loudest.
