The series became increasingly more personal and fan behavior became more violent when it was a home and home series. It was decided that the pregame would be less of a safety issue if the game was moved to a neutral site. Evidently Dawgs and Gators can't act right at home.

This story is a non issue, but there are some comment to be made. First off Bama did not spank SC they won the game. SC couldn't stop Ingram, but still Bama's offense scored only 13 points. UF had a tough game against and improved Arkansas team that kept the mighty gators in check most of the day. I have been watching Bama and UF very closely this year and I think BOTH teams are beatable. UF and Bama fans shouldn't yell too loudly, as Yogi said "It ain't over till its over".

I hold final judgement until SC plays UF in november, but as of right now I have to say both UF AND Bama appear beatable. Bama's offense only scored 13 points against SC this past weekend even though Ingram couldn't be stopped. SC scored 6 but should have had anywhere from 14 - 17, but there own errors kept them out of the zone. Bama fans may want to get the champagne ready, but don't open it too soon.

It has nothing to do with history. It is all about manners. My mother always taught me to not get into a battle of wits with an unarmed person. It's too easy and not polite for you to be that mean to them if they cannot defend themselves.

Amen to this. However, I am sure some of the recruits that are now paying attention to UT are also seeing all that Kiffin does a a joke already. UT has to be careful if the product on the field does not improve. Kiffin may be the savior as you said but he will take ALL the blame if UT fails.

Your attempt to draw me into a war of words is feeble at best, though I do thank you for the profile visit. From the posts I have made, I don't think I have ever been an obnoxious USC fan, but I have met many obnoxious UT fans. However as your national championship was over 10 years ago all I was saying is that the time for you to be obnoxious is past until you do some more winning.

No problem. As an aside to the avatar comment. Dan Patrick had the audacity to claim Roger Clemens was the greatest pitcher of this era. Did he never see Maddux pitch? Or were Roger's inflated numbers, head, and muscles blocking his view of reality?

But SEC Fans are used to obnoxious Gator fans as they had success before. Obnoxious UT fans are a new breed that has yet to earn their right to taunt. Hopefully, this season will allow the SEC to stomp the obnoxious out of UT.
