seeing this story more of a rumor b/c ellsbury will be north of 30 at that point. isn't really fitting in w/ theo's plan....especially that'll be prime time for jackson to be up in the majors. unless the cubs are far ahead of schedule and ready to contend...not seeing jackson lose at bats.

you mean fans actually want to see a quality product on the field and not just a shiny new ballpark? who would have known.

not too mention the little castro comment by ozzie will not be forgotten easily. he may be gone but that attitude has been associated w/ the ball club so it may be some time before the community is able to support the team. winning cures everything in sports so until that starts happening expect your tampa bay like crowds of 4000 people.

i was really hoping the urlacher and the bears would have been able to come to an agreement but looks like that ship has sailed. especially after the draft picks that will soon be signed. he'll look foolish signing somewhere else for the same if not less money that the bears already offered him.

plus the sad fact that dj williams at this point of their careers is an upgrade from old 54 dragging that leg around for a dozen games. plus anderson is an upgrade over roach as well.
