this is really a non story, its just being made because da bears suck right now. NBC wants to run a story about how the bears suck and the bears dont' want to talk about and focus on cutler sucking. honestly, why would you agree to sit down and let your qb get bashed? besides, cutler has a tendancy to snap at times...its a smart move by the bears. not sure why they're getting flack, i'm not sure i've seen pregame shows based on how sh3tty a team is.

just because the angels are IN the trade doesn't mean they have the(or are willing to give up) prospects to get Gonzo. think people...sheesh. i wish they'd list the prospects in the trade though. as long as its not Becks...i couldn't careless who they send as long as they get younger by dealing Paulie. good guy but he's had his run in chicago and its time to let him go to where he's wanted to go for awhile now(LA)

"typical chicago babble". yeah, i bet that was the case w/ the Peavy trade as well huh. i think all the guys saying "why would they trade..." need to slap their own face. really? its MLB, you either have money or you don't. you deal the guy before he gets paid because you can't afford him later on. get what you can while his stock is at his highest.

you'd have to be pretty stupid and gullible to believe some of these games in the playoffs were clean. i've watched some of these "what the f..." moments and there's no way you can convince me it was a fair shake. whether its due to gambling, the conspiracy that the nba is rigged or whatever...its not a clean game when it comes playoff time. your only hope as an nba fan is that you have a superstar image on your team worth marketing. if not, sorry your team's got no shot.

the top guys will get max deals from multiple teams so NY isn't appealing in $ regard. they suck as a team and as a franchise. dantoni will again regret not signing w/ da bulls, especially if Wade comes home. the knicks will sign somebody but it'll be from the good bracket FA class, not the franchise makers. i don't see any of the top guys signing JUST to sign in NY. they're not anywhere near competitive and no one guy will turn that around. their "lets wait for 2010" is going to backfire. good times...

first off, orton still sucks. had the cb not been interfered w/, orton's last pass would have been picked off and tom brady would have had a chance to win it. instead the dude was grabbed and couldn't catch orton's crap pass. and he did alot in that first game to win the game huh? he still can't throw a ball 20 yards w/out it looking like a drunk duck. orton doesn't win games. any decent qb would succeed w/ the denver offense. he gets credit where credit isn't due.

benson is not the same dude. he never ran that fast with chitown and he broke 3 tackles the entire time i watched him in a bears uniform. his is more attitude than anything else.

i wouldn't take either guy back regardless of their success. benson was a headache and orton has no arm strength.

as a bears fan, i think he's being 90% honest. lach never really liked the spotlight and you could tell in his interviews over the years. while i'm sure he is glad the spotlight is off him...i doubt he's COMPLETELY happy he's 2nd fiddle now. considering he's on the down of his career...it's a good thing for Lach cuz alot of the news on him from the media is negative. kind of a moot point because this story was done already in the Trib months ago.
