Agreed. The way Galarraga handled the whole thing made me an instant fan of his, and the remorse Joyce showed through his emotions showed how much he cares about the game and his sorrow for what happened. I hope something like that never happens, again, but what transpired after the incident was refreshing to say the least.
No where near the greatest? Way wrong. There can be an argument between Phelps, Owens, Flo Jo, Spitz, and Karelin. Phelps is one of the greatest Olympians of all time. Period.

Silva seems like the obvious choice, but left has made great arguments so far. Leaning left.
Posted Thursday July 26, 2012, About: Mike Trout is good at baseball.
I don't know about that. The Tornado led the league in strikeouts, second in ERA, started the All Star game, and placed fourth in the Cy Young voting. Under the rules, Nomo rightfully qualified for the ROY award.

Off topic: Welcome to L.A., Hanley Ramirez!! Send my thanks to your team, MF!!

I second this.
Posted Tuesday July 24, 2012, About: ichiro 1st ballot HOF???
Gotta go left so far. As I said in MF's td, Ichiro will be a first ballot hall of famer. The numbers and awards supersede his lack of post season experience, which isn't his fault.

I think the only argument is if Davidson should be higher on the list. The funny thing is the guys above him are terrible as well lol.

Well, I didn't know she was (or still is) addicted and selling crack. The fact is, he still abused his mother. I will refrain myself from calling him a mother-beater until all the facts come out. Agreed there.

She's still his mom, and I don't think she made up what happened to her.
Beckham has been playing well, and I don't see him retiring for another 2-3 years. I'm surprised he didn't make the Olympic roster for the Great Britain squad.
I'll take that as a compliment. :D
Posted Wednesday July 18, 2012, About: Tim Tebow will eventuasly start this season
Sanchez will either get hurt or throw a billion interceptions (or both) by Week 10. Enter Tebow.
Posted Wednesday July 18, 2012, About: Should Dallas consider signing T.O.???
Dez Bryant isn't a winner. Cowboys should have kept Robinson and got rid of this thug.
Posted Wednesday July 18, 2012, About: Should Dallas consider signing T.O.???
I don't think the media made up his mother's 911 call, and the details she gave about the abuse by Dez. If it was a random girl, then I would consider sitting pat and see the evidence, but it's his mother for god sake! What mom is going to lie or exaggerate about being abused by her child? The media doesn't have anything to do with this.
Posted Wednesday July 18, 2012, About: Should Dallas consider signing T.O.???
Well, I'd take T.O. over the mother abuser Dez Bryant.

Interesting topic.
Posted Saturday July 14, 2012, About: What should be done with PSU football program?
I agree with you on this statement. However, I believe the Penn St. football program should be shut down for at least a couple years. The Penn State issue is on a whole other level compared to programs like SMU when they got the death penalty. It sucks for the football players and coaches that had nothing to do with what happened, but something needs to happen so that there is a precedent set if another school tries to keep criminal acts a secret here on out. I'd rather see the penalty be assessed now, rather than drag the players and students through another season, before the NCAA eventually lays the hammer down.
I wonder what he said that got him banned this long? I've never really understood the banning process, and if there's a set amount of time for "cooling off."
