this article is kind of like a poorly edited kung fu flick (watched shaw brothers marathon last night).

a classmate from texas offering to pay an interest free loan, but the mom thinks he wasn't part of UT staff...then the kid is being wined and dined in hummers in LA, then off to free booze and narcotics in Dallas...then mom says she will never step foot in norman, and now the kid commits to OU?

UF fans, or at least those rooting against OU, who say the excuse machine is gearing up...at least have the sense to wait until after game is over and UF is the victor. murray isn't the sole offensive weapon on OU's squad, which has other backs, upperclassmen receivers and a stud tight end in gresham.

like, OMG, did you totally see tony and jason talking at lunch. like, they totally are dissing TO, like i mean, they totally didnt even talk to him during the break from 3rd to 4th period. like, i cant believe it, they were making their own plays and totally ignoring him. lets go watch twilight again bff

that's what i thought as i was reading the article.

i think the likelihood is that he would have stayed in his home state (OK) and played for the same college team his dad played for back in the day.

whiners from any of the teams (and i would probably be one too if OU weren't the Big 12 South Champion) say that this wouldn't be the case if we did things like in other conferences. "if this were the SEC or the ACC then UT would be in because the #3 team would be dropped from the equation [how fair is that?] and then it's a a head to head"

things wouldn't be this way if any number of things wouldn't have happened. if tex would have intercepted the ball on the final tech drive, this might not have happened. if UTs defense would have stopped a final drive in lubbock, this might not have happened. if OU didn't lose ryan reynolds in a RRR game it was leading throughout, this might not....

on all accounts, it is a moot [not mute, which i've seen too much here] point now. OU in.
